#PRU Good Morning people. I've had several people question just what #PRU is so I want to set the story straight before running my lists. To do this I am going to tell you how it came about and what it is about. Then I will begin with my core members, followed by Master then new

#PRU What is PRU? PRU stands for Proud Resisters Unite. It started out when I noticed a follower of mine who had been follwoing me for a long time and was very vocal on twitter only had a few followers while I had achieved over 10K by that time & I felt that was not right.

So, I decided to do something about it. First I decided to run a FBR party to help her but was disappointed with the results. By then I had several core followers who I talked to in DM on a daily basis and these became my closest friends.

I then decided I would just make lists of a few of my followers for my core followers to help them meet the resisters in my following list and connect. Eventually another person came to me telling me our mutual friend had been suspended and asked if I could help.

This was when I decided to make my lists public to everyone on twitter in order to help this other friend. It was never meant to go much further than helping two people among my followers.

Eventually it became apparent that this was bigger than I had intended so I decided to make up a group consisting of people not chosen randomly from my followers but made up of people who came to me and asked to be on the lists under a banner designed by @GabNGripes who helped me

I wanted a group of people who would be the best off the best resisters to be found on twitter and I set strict rules to make sure this was true. Most important I wanted people to connect to other resisters who connected with them.

If a resister followed them then they were to return the favor. Second I wanted these people to maintain their account following/follower numbers in order for the to one get over the 5K following limit imposed by twitter and two be able to follow resisters who followed them.

This then is the essence of #PRU .

Now we start with my core members. These are my friends, the people dearest to me and who may or may not follow back. You can't find any better people to have as your friends here in twitter.

I want to thank people who have helped me. @LA_Karma1 & @GabsNGripes for helping me start up this group from the beginning and @GabsNGripes for developing these banners we now use. @SkiBuni for alphabetizing the lists & sticking with me all this time.

Anyone who changed their user name or anyone wanting to be added to the lists or removed from the lists please send me a DM so I can take care of that. It's you resisters that make this group, I am always in search of new people to add to the lists. Send a DM to be vetted.

First off some info for people who are unfamiliar with what a Tag List is. Tag lists are not Lists as in twitter jargon. Tag lists are names of vetted resisters who are well worth connecting with. #PRU

Don't follow then unfollow later unless you have an actual good reason to do so. So, what is the purpose of these lists? It's not so much to increase your follower numbers (it does that too) as it is to connect more of us who want to resist everything Trump #PRU

By doing so we are able to build a coalition that will be stronger than if we were to go it alone. Trump obviously thinks twitter is important to get his message out, and it works the same way for us as well in striking back. #PRU

The more people we can connect to the wider the range of our voice. Following is not a one way street,if anyone on the lists follows you follow them back and vice versa. #PRU

#PRU Now I will give you info that will help you on twitter. First you must be aware of twitter limits. Here are some helpful sources for that: help.twitter.com/en/using-twitt…

#PRU Did not reach your Twitter limits, yet can't follow more?
If you did not reach your Twitter limits, yet receiving the "Cannot follow more users" or the "Twitter bug" messages, this maybe because your account has a friends-to-followers ratio of more than 200%.

#PRU In other words, if you are following 200 users, but only 100 users are following you, you may receive that message. To resolve, you can try the following:

#PRU Unfollow Twitter users the do not follow you back or are inactive for some time. This way your followed to followers ratio can be restored closer to 1:1.
What this means is try to balance the amount of followers with the amount you are following so they are fairly even.

#PRU If you have way too many of followers or following you will wind up with problems.
Last, be aware that twitter limits you to 1K follows a day or you wind up in twitter jail with your tweets invisible for 12 hours.

#PRU Remember please that you too may already have some of the same people on my follow lists, just skip over them and go on to the next

#PRU I can't remind people enough. not everyone has absolutely nothing to do in their lives like I do. Give them time to follow back. I wait 2-3 weeks, I suggest people give people 3-4 days to follow back due to twitter glitches.

#PRU I personally use two twitter maintenance apps Unfollowspy.com which is free and safe to use and is good if you have to unfollow 100 a day. Or you can buy into the app if you are so inclined to increase the amount.

#PRU Or, if you are perpetually broke like me you could use whounfollowedme.org also free and safe and is unlimited but not nearly as informative as the other app.

#PRU There are other apps you might use as well. I suggest you use the one that fits your preference.

#PRU What to do if you think but are not sure you may be in twitter jail or shadow banned. Simply type into the twitter search bar from:@username then do a search. |make sure you include the semi-colon and your username. If it comes up with no tweets of yours you're in trouble

#PRU MOST important. I am constantly in need of new people to request to be on the lists. Please don't be shy about this, it's how we get connected. If you so desire to be on the lists simply send me a DM requesting to be added & I will vet you & add you to the lists.

#PRU For those wondering why I ask for a DM when requesting to be added to the lists,it's simply because my notifications will get so flooded once I tweet these lists I may never see the request you sent unless you DM. Thank you kindly for the opportunity to have you with us.
