Are. You. Kidding. Me?! Posting Memes and GIFs and regurgitating others news stories but you think you need to get paid for doing what hundreds of thousands of other people are doing free in their spare time? #ResistanceIsFree
I am in multiple rooms, some with candidates. I retweet candidate tweets to amplify their message. I work with people to help widen our network to get the word out about candidates and issues. I don’t ask anyone to pay my bills! #ResistanceIsFree
The amount of accounts with a large following that are suddenly asking for us to pay their bills is mind blowingly disgusting. You don’t deserve a donation for doing what the rest of us are doing for free. #ResistanceIsFree
If you are unable to pay your bills because you are spending 24/7 tweeting that’s your choice. Don’t ask people to pick up the slack. Being a grifter is a choice. A disgusting choice but a choice. We shouldn’t have to bank roll your choice. #GetAJob #ResistanceIsFree
I just realized that his asking for money is nonstop. I never really paid attention to his account before because all it has is regurgitated news items and memes. He sends out a tweet every half hour about it. 🙄 beyond ridiculous

I have not done a state room thread recently and we are less than two months out from mid terms so I am going to do one because our #FlipItBlue candidates need all hands on deck.
State rooms are chat rooms where the resistance work together to help amplify candidates and issues. Some rooms are single state rooms and some are multi state rooms. The main goal in all of them is to showcase candidates and #GOTV
I’ll list state & the account to contact for state. Some states have multiple rooms. Those will be listed twice. Some have multiple contacts listed together. If interested send dm. If not able to because of no mutual follow my DM’s are open send me one & I will pass message on.

99 days until midterms.
99 days to promote candidates.
99 days to tweet, phone bank, canvass.
During these 99 days make sure you are checking your voter status. That’s what I did this morning.

To my surprise Georgia had no record of me.
If you’ve been following me for a while you know my story but if not here’s a link to my primary voting experience...

Back to this morning... after I got over the initial shock of being purged I immediately re-registered online. (website said it would take a couple weeks to process) I called someone at Georgia Dems I met during primary experience. She said she’d look in to it and call me back.

To men it’s envy he could have an affair with a playboy model

To women it reinforces their belief he’s a viral leader.

To the Christian right he’s now a Christian and has repented.

To GOP MOC it’s just a distraction from the important work he’s doing to push through their agenda.

Can we treat this like what it is… another example of a pattern of behavior. Lie, lie, deny then when proof appears attack and deflect.

Holding him accountable doesn’t work

We need to look to the GOP MOC and make our voices heard to them. Make them understand that their continued support of trump ruins their credibility.

We need to look to independent voters and disillusioned Republicans voters. That is how to effect change.

A lil thread..

So I did early voting today… YAY ME!. But something a little sketchy happened when I went to vote. I handed the guy my license. He handed me a form to fill out and my choices for ballot were Republican, Democrat, and non-partisan. I checked Democrat because duh!
He looks at my form and then asked me “Are you sure that’s the ballot you want? There’s only like two races on that one. I know there’s more on the other ones.“ I asked him “What do you mean? I have a cheat sheet here with 11 races.” 🤷🏻‍♀️
He said something along the lines of “Well there is federal state and local on there but only a couple races on that ballot.” 🤨 So I responded with “I would like to see a sample ballot.“ He walked over to a lady and asked her to get me a sample ballot.

I am noticing a disturbing trend in regards to candidate support and endorsement. Resistance members are allowing someone else to decide which candidate they will back. Differing opinions are either ignored or dismissed. I find this kind of groupthink problematic.

The “support or else“ mentality discourages any type of personal choice or opinion. To have one person’s potentially biased opinion replace your own is troubling on its face.

Having a choice forced on you by allowing another’s opinion to supersede your own means more viable candidates do not receive the support they deserve. Do not rely on someone else to make your choices for you.
