For as long as this Government unfortunately provides Citizens the usual ‘raw materials’ of unsound policies, unwise actions, misguided positions, they should be ready to hear from us.
If they like, they can go & recruit additional trolls from across the borders.
Chinese attitude to Indebtedness is the HARDEST in the world. I know, because one had to deal with it in the course of my work @ the World Bank, helping African countries to get the HIPC Debt Cancellation.
It ANNOYS ME TO NO END to see our countries BINGING on Chinese Loans.
Most annoying of this latest round of RISING SCALE of Public Debt by countries of the continent is that the politicians are behaving EXACTLY like the ones who PILED UP DEBTS in the 80s & 90s.
“Just sign up for plenty Loans...forget about imperatives of Debt Sustainability.” KAI!!
The Chinese KNOW EXACTLY what they are doing. If you read their Loan Agreements with African countries, you will see how TIGHT they cover their exposure. Meanwhile, our own Leaders go there to naively, gleefully and with huge dose of inferiority complex, sign on to BAD DEALS.
The PACT - Presidential Aspirants Coming Together had 13 Aspirants at their Opening today. They did inform the Media & audience in the hall, ahead of their voting process, that Sowore and 4 other Aspirants had moved on at different time since they launched their initiative.
Those 13 that were there today including @MoghaluKingsley and @feladurotoye made LOFTY STATEMENTS of their collective vision to go together& vote AMONG THEMSELVES, one Consensus Candidate. Before they signed their MOU, -2 - @OfficialAhmedB & Aliyu quietly walked away leaving 11.
The 11 then finalized their MOU & SIGNED, BEFORE VOTING among themselves:

One of my most favorite Chapters of the Bible is Second Chronicles. We are in the season that it is most applicable. Life is imitating Art now.
I shall tweet it for those who desire to learn a great Lesson from it.
May the revelation it gives to the wise not elude you. 🌹🙏🏾
It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
2 Chronicles 20:1
Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazon–tamar, which is En–gedi.
2 Chronicles 20:2

If I were President & my Aviation Minister sent me a Memo asking for my approval to set up a ‘National Airline’ with initial capital of FG’s $300million & aquire airplanes, I will instantly send him a reply.
It will be:
Goodbye.
Pls hand over the Ministry to the PermSec.✍🏾
If optimism and patriotism mean endorsing what appears like a patchwork of grandiose return to those woebegone era of Nigeria Government’s tragic adventure in Business, please feel free to call me whatever you choose; but I shall not partake of your Kool-aid.
As emotionally uplifting as it may sound to some citizens or even ‘economically viable’ to others (Some people say, “it will create jobs”), setting up a ‘National Airline’ should NOT make the LIST OF TO DOs in our Aviation Sector.
Follow my RT of my old tweets on this, next.
Those who know me from when I was in Government will confirm my strong reticence to accepting some of the coterie of Awards that various groups in our country, generously confer on people.
I have always felt that nothing of our country justifies the LARGE number of Awards.
I set a very High Threshold for determining which Award, one would accept. It helped me weed out so many of those ‘one kain’ awards that featured very ‘interesting characters’ as ‘co-awardees’.
It is time to raise that Threshold even higher. Really.
One of the Awards conferred on me more than a decade ago, is the National Honors Award of CFR - Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic.
You see, I hardly ever remember that one is a CFR.
