This is unprecedented even for me. Currently lying 8th in the Premier League with #HTAFC at the end of OCTOBER having scored just 4 goals. Through to the 5th round of the League Cup having not scored a goal. #Deeeeeefence #BrickWall #FM18 #FMM18

It’s now December and we’re still the lowest scorers in the league (12) but a string of great results and more clean sheets takes us into the European places.

I'm not entirely sure what's happening. I'm Huddersfield fucking Town & I'm lying 6th in the Premier League in Feb 2020 having only scored 18 goals & conceding just 9. With 40 points in the bag I've likely secured my PL safety, now for the charge to Europe. #FM18 #FootballManager

HUGE game against Bournemouth. Lying 7th in the Premier League, still conceded just 15 goals although had some bad results against the big boys recently. Absolutely gutted to have lost the League Cup final in the 120th minute too. #FM18 #WeAreTheCommunity #FootballManager

A 1-1 draw at home feels like a bad result, but we’re back up to 6th on Goal Difference after Mounié’s 52nd minute equaliser, and back in the European spots with 4 games left. #FM18 #FootballManager

So this is it. We go down to the final day with our fate in our hands. Southampton and Liverpool are the only two teams who can realistically overtake us, due to our superior GD. Big 3-0 loss against Leicester cost us dearly. #FM18

Crushed. A draw against Champions @ChelseaFC on the final day wasn’t enough, as both @SouthamptonFC and @LFC won their games to leap frog us, leaving us in 8th. Youngster Keinan Davis finished top scorer with 6, ‘keeper Smith conceded just 20 in 43 games. #FM18 #FM19 #HTAFC

In a strange twist, our transfer budget might be reduced next year due to a reduction in @premierleague revenues for the 2020/21 season. In other news, chuffed to bits to win Manager of the Year!

Season expectations for the 2020/21 season. Pleased with the budget, but we lost a few driftwood players to contract expiry so it’ll be stretched thin to bolster the squad.

2020/21 started out well with a 2-0 victory over @WBA, but despite being unbeaten so far we’ve had SEVEN 0-0 draws, leaving us 9th in the table. We have made good progress in the @Carabao_Cup again, with a Quarter-Final tie against @ChelseaFC in the offing. #FM18 #FM19

Unsurprisingly, having kept 11 clean sheets this season, Jordan Smith wins Premier League player of the month for October. Seriously, plucked this kid out of obscurity at Forest as back up, goes on the be the best goalie in the Premier League. Insane.

That’s our second POTM award of the season, after Marcus Rojo collected the accolade in August due to a string of impressive performances. He the picked up an injury which kept him out of action for September. #FM18

A string of poor results has left us lying just outside the drop zone on goal difference. The problem? Not enough goals. To have o my scores 5 by Christmas is frankly pathetic. We need to be more adventurous.

Despite fan protests we’ve survived January, but lost in the league cup semi-final to @ManCity 2-1 on aggregate. Given my dire situation I’ve just gone absolutely bonkers and I’m playing a 4-2-4 formation. Who knows how it’ll go, but I’ve nothing to lose. #FM18

Well, that didn’t last long, did it? A 2-1 loss to Fulham seals my fate, and I know exactly how Claudio Ranieri felt at Leicester. This is a crushing blow, and I’m left wondering who will take me on. #FM18

Tonight ends where our new journey begins. We’ve joined League 2 @AFCWimbledon as their new manager.

As a final aside before out @AFCWimbledon journey begins, Football Manager's reputation system is seriously broken. No offence to the Wombles, but I've spent 3 years successfully managing Huddersfield Town of all teams in the Premier League, and yet I get offered L1 and L2 jobs.

Surely at least a Championship team should be interested? Went for the Sunderland and Forest jobs and heard nothing. Going to enjoy another game of getting a team back to the big time, but would have been nice to have bigger opportunities after managing at a high level.
