This is amazing.... been watching the #AppleEvent all day, and noticed something very peculiar:

-Not ONE caucasian used in the photo demonstrations;
-Apple is pandering to China;
-Apple is pandering to environmental nuts;
-Live audience claps as a cult-like crowd;

And before anyone makes any STUPID comments that I am some kind of "white supremacist" let me just say this:

I am not. But I will call out the obvious. Apple is by design, pandering to everyone that is not caucasian. It is just a fact. Why? Who knows.

I am a firm believer that ALL ethnicities of America (and the world) should be represented in a product that has global reach. That includes caucasian and European descendants. People that take photos aren't just of Asian or African heritage (even though they are great portraits)

Why would Apple make a concerted effort to leave out a large swath of the world's population in its presentations of the camera capabilities? The obvious argument will be that those with darker skin are harder to capture in images. As a photographer, this is partially true.

There is an equal argument to be made that those with fair skin tones are just as hard to shoot when they are wearing dark colors / surrounded by dark backgrounds. I am not buying that excuse. I wanted to see ALL skin tones represented so I know how the camera will handle this.

For the @Apple X that is being released at $1099, I wanted to see exactly how well that camera could handle a range of skin tones. NOT just Asian / African / Indian skin tones. I have a wide range of clients. Why can't I observe how well the new camera will handle them ALL?

On the topic of China, a country known for it's oppression of it's citizens (often killing those who dissent with their government) WHY would Apple pander to their leaders by creating a platform specific to it's government's requirements? Just, NO!

Apple and Google, arguably the TWO most powerful tech companies in existence ever, are missing a massive opportunity to force China's government to become LESS oppressive, LESS reliant on censorship, and yet, they completely BOWED DOWN to China!

The crowd at the #AppleEvent applauded that Apple would create a new specific platform JUST FOR CHINA!

What kind of SJW's are these??? Allowing Apple and Google to continue to pander to China's oppressive government shows you just how money hungry they are.

Apple and Google have completely compromised basic human values to chase a large market. THAT is the truth. We all know that China's regime places no value on it's citizens. Complete oppression / censorship. Such a disgusting display of faux virtue signaling watching this.
