to celebrate 6000 followers (LOL, madness) i'd like to give a shout-out to some of my favourite EU nationals! we are all EU citizens, but these people are not in the same boat as we Brits, and it's important we acknowledge that; the UK is their home & Brexit puts that at risk! 1/

obviously, i must mention the wonderful @cliodiaspora, who should not be in the position to have to fight for her rights and those of other EU citizens, but does so regardless, and gets targeted & abused for it. i'd understand if she'd given up by now, but on she fights. hero. 2/

i love seeing @DamnAlex1978 pop up in my feed (and trying to translate his italian tweets lol), he's always got something funny or interesting to say! 😊 @AnneIdaForest is a brilliant photographer and so lovely in real life! 3/

our local campaign group is glad to have @angrysmiley, we love his enthusiasm! 👍 and it's a pleasure when @smilinglaura pops up in my notifications, she's a beautiful person! 4/

for hard facts with a wry twist, we're lucky to have @MaxMigliorato in our community! 😂 i heard @emmyzen speak at my first #StopBrexit march 18 months ago; she inspired me to want to do more for the campaign! 5/

and lastly, my lovely finnish friend, niina, who was the only person who took me out for a drink after all the horrors of last year, to let me talk through it with a friend. she was the only one who cared, the only one on my side. she's left the UK now. 6/

i've been an EU citizen all my life. half my friends at uni were EU citizens; it's all i've ever known. it's horrible to think that if Brexit goes ahead, people from the EU lose their right to live here, and i lose my right to live in EU countries 😞 it's so alien to me. 7/

it's TOO LATE to restrict us by our place of birth, it's TOO LATE to try & tear us apart; we're too much a part of each others' lives & we must fight any attempts to divide us! EU nationals are welcome here!! support @eucitizenschamp, and fight for our EU friends' rights!❤️ 8/8
