Good evening family, thank you for joining us on #Audacious today. Happy Sunday to you all. It's a lil wet Sunday in Lagos, Nigeria right now, what's your weather like from wherever you are joining us from?

I just want us to do a brief heart talk today on this broadcast, and need I say, this is the 99th episode of the #Audacious broadcast.

We are hitting a landmark by next week Sunday when our broadcast comes live again.

I will quickly like to share a story of how little things matter and how much everyone of us can move to greater heights from little things.

Yea, I went to see an old friend yesterday, we've not seen in almost 6 years and to think of it, she stays close to my office.
It was really a great moment when we saw. We both started to think out the last time we met, it was just a good sight.

After normal exchange of pleasantries, we got talking, we started from scratching the surface of some deep gists, and later on, we went real deep into it.
You know, someone you grew up with and you can tell was very fervent, opinionated etc, but lost it at some point

She told me about when she lost it. She actually lost every taste of God, she was really tired of unanswered prayers, she was literally angry at God.
She began to do things she normally won't do, went clubbing, drinking and stopped fellowshipping with the saints

However, she mentioned to me the experience that turned her around.
She had gone to visit her parents and they called on her to go to church together, she refused.
At about the time she wanted to leave for her home, her dad called on her and narrated her a gist.

He asked what is wrong with her that she does not want to hear anything about the church.
He then told her a story of when she was about 10 years old. He said they had returned from the village and was told to do an incision on everyone of the children for protection

But she refused and said she have on her body the mark of the Lord Jesus and that she doesn't need any other mark(s).
Her dad told her he beat her so much and want to forcefully do the incision, but she ran away, saying nothing will happen to her.

And true to her words nothing really happened to her... This scenario got the parent captivated and the dad confessed that her actions at that time made them become Christians and committed to the things of God.
He told her how she used to lead devotions at home etc

She was very steadfast with the things of God and her vibes infected the whole family and got them deep into the Christian walk.
His question to her now is, 'what could have happened to the girl who by her ways turned us to fervent Christians that her heart is now drawn away?

At this point, she told me she was already in tears and she quietly went home and cried all night, couldn't even say a word, yet her heart speaks to God.

A Don Moen song was perfect for the night and was on repeat all night...

Even in the darkest hour
Through the sorrows & the pain
I will sing...
Lord I don't know what to say
I don't know what to sing
But I will sing your praise with all in my heart

She woke up lighter as she saw brightness come into her life. She began to welcome God back in, and with that, she began to ask for a better fellowship with God.

We both came to a conclusion that our strong base/background in the things of God was the saving grace. We were groomed in the things of God, we understood grace, we saw the workings of God and we became sure that what brought her back was the works that have gone into her

We both knew that grace found her, grace rescued her and it was the same grace that was with her in her childhood days.

Deposits of the children church, deposits of personal study and revelation, deposits of prayers and intercessions.

See, the little things you do now is as important as the huge, significant things you claim to do. Remember, big shots are small shots that kept shooting.

Those little things are insignificant to you now, but when they will become your saving grace, you will least imagine it.

People who invest their time into you when you look like you are nothing should be given a lot of kudos because they have a great foresight and are not seeing you as you are but as you will be.

She reminded me of the gatherings we both attended about 16 years ago and can boldly say that it is the grace and mercy, power and strength from such meetings that kept us strong and fervent.
Even if we go astray, those encounters find a way to draw us back to God

My simple word is this, those of you doing anything worth the while, please keep doing it, don't stop, don't try to manipulate, someone will be rescued in those things you do however little it is.
You teach children? Please do it wholeheartedly, be careful not to waiver

You give to the needy? Please don't stop.
You help people out of their issues? Please don't stop.
You teach God's word? Haaa! Don't stop please.

All of these things we do have a great recompense. You will surely get rewarded.

There is nothing you are doing that is small, they all add up to something big eventually that can rescue someone's life.
Don't give up, those little things count.
