Let’s talk about #Iran’s @JZarif complaining about @Twitter shutting down what he claims are “real Iranians.”
First of all, it is a known fact that #Iran’s regime is accused of running fake accounts across social media platforms.
“… Facebook announced that it removed hundreds of inauthentic pages, groups, and accounts on its platform that were used to ‘mislead others about who they were and what they were doing.’”
“Twitter also revealed it had suspended 284 accounts for 'coordinated manipulation' stemming from Iran.”
This is not the first time that @JZarif has bickered about fake accounts.
Talking about fake accounts, here’s a look at #Iran Supreme Leader Ali @Khamenei_ir’s fake followers.
And here’s a look at @JZarif’s own share of fake followers.
In @JZarif’s tweet, there’s a video regarding an Al Jazeera program interviewing @tparsi & @AzadehMoaveni, two #Iran regime apologist/lobbyists.
It is completely obvious how Iranians feel about @tparsi and & @NIACouncil.
Here’s a look:
@tparsi enjoyed good relations with the Obama administration, which of course, provided 8 years of appeasement for #Iran’s regime to take advantage of & lead to the highly flawed #IranDeal.
This you’ll find interesting about Parsi & @NIACouncil:
About @AzadehMoaveni, I once had a debate with her & accused her of being an #Iran regime apologist/lobbyist.
She has signed a @NIACouncil document & @tparsi RTs her, which says it all for me.
Here’s a look at Moaveni’s tweets:
Whatever opinion you may have of the late Senator McCain, this is very disrespectful. She is literally describing his passing away as a “ray of hope.”
And here’s Moaveni quoting @hmajd, another #Iran regime apologist/lobbyist.
Here’s Moaveni tweeting against regime change in Iran, playing into the interests of the mullahs’ regime. This literally says keep the mullahs’ in power.
And here’s Moaveni tweeting in support of regime President @HassanRouhani, a man who has presided over 3,500 executions during his tenure & was directly involved in the crackdowns of #Iran’s 1999, 2009 & the recent Dec/Jan uprisings.
Instead of responding to my allegations of being an #Iran regime apologist/lobbyist, she chose to block me.
I rest my case about Moaveni.
Remember I mentioned @hmajd a few tweets back? He also blocked me after I challenged him to condemn #Iran’s regime for the execution of Kurdish political prisoners #RaminHosseinPanahi, #LoghmanMoradi & #ZaniarMoradi.
In response, instead of condemning a heinous execution, @hmajd blocked me.
Again, I rest my case.
The next time an outlet runs a program about #Iran & sees the likes of @JZarif, @tparsi & @AzadehMoaveni promoting their work, they should know they are siding with Iran's regime, not the people.
As always, the conclusion is yours to make.

Thanks for reading.

I welcome any & all constructive feedback.

Hey @JZarif, do your homework.
THIS is a troll.

Attn: #Iran's regime & @JZarif:
The "bots" you talked talked about... they'll be coming for you on the 22nd.
Brace for impact!

Excellent input provided by @86Ehsan.

More "real" Iranians responding to @JZarif's begging of @Jack & @Twitter.
Thank you, @RedPill_1984.
Couldn't have said it any better myself.
More lessons for @JZarif about bots & trolls.
Here's an example of those "real" users @JZarif most likely favors.
Use Twitter Audit to learn about fake followers.

These numbers are quite interesting:
@khamenei_ir - 145,323 fake followers (33%)
@JZarif - 271,097 fake followers (30%)
@tparsi - 22,429 fake followers (30%)

And to be fair:
Heshmat Alavi - 361 fake followers (3%)
Former European Parliament VP @VidalQuadras slams @JZarif's ridiculous remarks.

U.S. President Donald Trump has accepted the resignation of Nikki Haley as UN Ambassador.

My gut tells me an even bigger story will develop.

Rest assured #Iran's regime is terrified about who Trump/Pompeo will appoint as their new envoy.
Amb. Nikki Haley spoke six months ago with President Donald Trump about the subject of resigning.
Will be staying at this post until the end of the year.
Amb. Nikki Haley saying she will be campaigning for President Trump in 2020.

Add this to the long list linking #Iran's regime with international terrorism.

This time, the al Qaeda-affiliated al Shabaab militant group of Somalia.

More reason why a firm policy is needed against Tehran.
"Criminal networks are using Iran as a transit point for illicit Somali charcoal exports that earn Islamist militants al Shabaab millions of dollars annually in tax, U.N. sanctions monitors said in a report seen by Reuters."
"... domestic revenue generation by al Qaeda-affiliated al Shabaab 'is more geographically diversified and systematic' than that of Somalia’s federal government."

Reports indicate atmosphere in #Iran's parliament (the Majlis) is very tense as members review the anti-money laundering Financial Action Task Force (FATF) signing bill.
Sources say "hardliners" are voicing threats about the signing of this bill.

(File Photo)
"Regarding the FATF, should we commit suicide today by signing this bill because we're going to die in the future?" says Behrouz Nemati, a member of #Iran's Majlis (parliament).

Read more about Iran & the FATF here:
"Hardliners in Iran’s parliament have opposed passing legislation toward compliance with FATF standards, arguing it could hamper Iranian financial support for allies such as Lebanon’s Hezbollah, which the US has classified as a terrorist organization."

Short Thread:

#Iran's #FakeNews machine at work:

"It did not say where Zahedifar was arrested. In a video carried by state broadcaster IRIB, a blindfolded man who identified himself as Zahedifar denied he had fled Iran."
Here's the video.

What a coincidence (!), all of this developing just "a week after Tehran sentenced three people to death in a drive against economic crimes."
