In study discussed in this paper, subjects watched a video wherein crime occurs in a liquor store. Afterward, 79.3% of the study’s participants misidentified an INNOCENT BYSTANDER as the perpetrator in a 5-option perpetrator-free lineup.

Maybe both Brett Kavanaugh & Christine Blasey Ford are telling the truth about what they recall. But maybe her recollection about that night in 1980s is tainted & inaccurate due to unconscious transference.
She wasn’t shown a lineup right after, but her memory could’ve been tainted by seeing a photo of him later. She could truly believe what she remembers is true & he could truly be innocent. #Kavanagh
