Last month's deficit was $211 billion, or $104 billion more than August 2017. That number is more than a third of what it was in Obama's whole final year in office.

@AntonioSabatoJr, and some other @GOP assholes either called #MeToo victims liars, or ridiculed them.

My former Senator @SenatorCollins seems more worried about the methods her constituents are using to make their feelings about #Kavanaugh known, than she is about the fact that so many of them feel so strongly. She's playing the victim and not the leader.

And Republicans still haven't passed legislation to protect our elections against outside interference.

And all of this is happening only 45 days before midterms.

The days seem to be rushing by suddenly.

And they will speed toward us faster now.

Be prepared.

I tell you all of this because if our victory on November 6th does not reflect this reality then, my friends, they have managed to do it again.

Democracy wasn't dying in front of us, we have been standing on its corpse for the last two years.

There will be no doubt.

Keep your eyes open and heart steady.

Because we still have much work to do.

Both before. And after.

And after that still.

This is only the beginning, but what kind of work we have before us we won't know until the morning of November 7th.
