‘Expulsion is the most severe sanction, reserved for leaders who’ve been convicted of an offence or put children at risk of harm. I’ve done nothing of the sort. I suppose I have committed a thought crime though’. thetimes.co.uk/article/34139e…
Helen’s grievous crime? She won’t submit and has stood firm behind the idea that ‘girls have the right to exert their own boundaries, have some bodily privacy and not be kicked out for not conforming with gender stereotypes’. #girlguiding
The @Girlguiding have gone from teaching girls independence and promoting sisterhood to removing girl’s boundaries –don’t be a bigot– and grooming them to acquiesce to please men. They are teaching girls to concede even their own perceptions of reality to make men and boys happy
In the porn era with its resulting epidemic of sexual assaults, particularly in schools, in this action @Girlguiding are teaching girls to surrender their boundaries to boys and men's pleasure, that speaking up will result in community expulsion. That boys dictate truth & can't
be questioned. This is very dangerous for a generation of young women.
It has been alleged that the Girl Guides requested that Jane Fae speak to some of the girls and may have been involved in removing single sex spaces in the GG & telling girls that their perceptions and boundaries are bigoted.
Fae claimed this and the Girl Guides are certainly refusing to deny Fae’s involvement. Here is a thread concerning it, provided by @APatchOnCinamon
Jane Fae, as well as allegedly being celebrated by the Girl Guides, is lauded by Backlash – the association which tries to legalise extreme pornography. Yup, Snuff, bestiality, incest, rape porn, as a matter of freedom of sexuality.
Who better to be talking to girls and young women than someone who has defended extreme porn and doesn’t think ‘acts which cause serious injury or death’ should be legislated against?
The Backlash article links to Jane Fae’s blog the register theregister.co.uk/2009/01/24/ext…
This screen grab shows the broad definition of extreme pornography, it wouldn’t even cover the filmed rape in Last Tango in Paris. Government legal guidance to charging extreme pornography is available here: cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance…
For context on the Last Tango in Paris scene being the filming of an actual sexual assault here: variety.com/2016/film/news…
To return to the Girl Guides, those of a more cynical persuasion may find this has rather sinister undertones. I think the dice are falling to create an exceptionally dangerous environment for vulnerable girls.
Now that safeguarding has been dismantled, single sex-spaces removed, it has been promised to keep information from parents, whistle blowers expelled, girls indoctrinated that their boundaries are bigotry and taught that speaking up leads to punishment and expulsion....
The government, who the same people who have removed the safeguarding have the ear of, are promising to fund 5,500 places for the poorest and most vulnerable to enter groups such as the Girl Guides. thirdsector.co.uk/uniformed-yout…
A new statement has been released (24/09/2018) by @Girlguiding in which they reassure (?) that the removal of single sex facilities & opportunities, disregarding safeguarding principles such as informing parents is really what will make girls happy.
Let us have another look at Gendered Intelligence who Girl Guiding proudly reference in their statement as informing their new policy, *spoiler alert* I take a very dim view of GI and their ideology. To their sexual health booklet, which received @TNLUK funding
We, and thus the Girl Guides, are in Lady Brain territory. Although GI recognises that biological sex exists (hurrah) they claim it is not as important as societal stereotypes.
I have to give it GI, they at least have been more honest than most in regards to surgery. Nevertheless, surgery and make-up are offered as ways to help one's mental health.
This is what GI tells Youth is 'sex 101', the organisation advising the Girl Guides advocates rimming, anal, BDSM, kinky sex etc. It reads like it is off of a porn site to be fair.
My favourite now, an acknowledgement that most transgender 'women' retain their penises - 📯 'women like receiving blow jobs'.📯
Now we know a little about who is advising the Girl Guides, lets return to the GG themselves. A parent has sent me this response they received in regards to their complaint that GG was no longer single sex, they also wanted to know specifically if Challenor had advised them.
As you can see from my red pen, I am not impressed. They are gaslighting and making up law willy-nilly.... that is not how law works! Once again, the actual protected characteristics in the screen grabs
My red pen comment refers to this response which has been crafted out of utter bol**cks, not the equality law, although I do think these few years have shown we need to tighten up EA2010 and add clarity stronger than diamonds.
The Girl Guides are just making their own laws up. THAT IS NOT HOW LEGISLATION WORKS! Thank you to @Obsolesence for bringing this to my attention. Compare and contrast what the GG say are the protected characteristics to what the U.K. government has enshrined in law. ENSHRINED.
For this utter load of codswallop I award them this badge
Sorry did I miss it. Was Parliament dissolved and the Girl Guides lead a military coup and are now in fact in charge of the laws of the realm?
The EHRC may have confirmed that the Girl Guides and Ms Jonsson were indeed talking Bunkum. The GG may have been asked by the EHRC to change their website to clarify to parents that it is mixed sex.
Do you have any screen grabs @CF_Farrow? Can you confirm please @EHRC ?
From Fair Play For Women: 'If you want to find out how many times @Girlguiding were told about our concerns and how many letters were written by us and parents, all the articles are here'. fairplayforwomen.com/sisterstoallgu…
The EHRC have responded (27/09/18) and I must say it is all kinds of confused. It is a statement that doesn't really say anything.
At 12:45 pm on 27/09/18 I have asked the @EHRC to explain the difference in terms of biological sex and legislation between a 'trans-girl' and a boy. I await their response. @CF_Farrow if you receive any additional information or clarification can you please share?
As @BillEllson eloquently argues and has diligently researched 'It would appear that @EHRC lack a basic grasp of charity law. @Girlguiding 's Royal Charter specifies that their primary object is the education of girls and young women...
As @BillEllson further points out 'The Guide Association is a registered charity incorporated by Royal Charter, the beneficiaries are "girls and young women". Until the Privy Council decides otherwise they are obliged to keep the organisation single sex'.
The Girl Guides supposed 'trans inclusive' policy does not extend to females who identify as boys. This is cruel and potentially sex discrimination. I have stolen this from @JonnnyBest (I hope you don't mind).
It is already happening in schools, girls are being sacrificed for politicians to appear progressive. Stella Creasy - she recommends the girls just have a bit of Counselling.
30th September 2018 and the Girl Guides come out with this absolute load of hogwash. You can not pick and choose the law.
You can NOT ignore EA2010 & interpret the protected characteristics as a 'girl only offer' , these are rights in law not a discount code.

A detailed look at the U.K. Serious Case Review National Repository suggests to me that Susie Green of mermaids is making up statistics and in my opinion behaving unethically and in contradiction with the Samaritan guidelines around suicide.
This has come out of work @AlfredBelpaire has done and privately shared with me. The 'stats' Susie Green and another Mermaids mum are pushing, the sensationalist Guardian article do NOT agree with the research by GIDS of the Tavistock and Portman.
Who sent me this thread? I want to thank you but I can't find the notification.
Sokal squared set about to expose the sophistry and forgery of knowledge in academia, particularly 'grievance studies', and it has been marvellous. I was even dealing with this just this morning (see screen grab).
This is in the comments section below. This Professor Emeritus of Applied Philosophy doesn't think that biological sex is real, that women are disadvantaged by systemic oppression based on biology. It is, frankly, batsh*t.
Prof.'s Stock rebuttal of five common arguments that men are women on their self declaration is beautiful. Proper reasoning and argument has returned to the room!
According to @StopFundingHate talking about women's rights= hateful, speaking about safeguarding= hateful, biology= hateful, speaking of sexism= hateful, women defining themselves= hateful, advertising government consultation= hateful.
I'm starting to suspect @StopFundingHate haven't done the reading.
Are they really going to start a campaign telling women to just be nice? @StopFundingHate
Jess is under the impression that women, and some men, meeting to discuss potential legislative changes is against UK law and council policies. Jess may have confused her anti-women feelings with actual legislation.
This is a personal favourite, Jess celebrating denying women their lawful rights by screaming 'mine' like a toddler. Thanks Jess, this really made me laugh.
There is a long heritage of women like Jess. Julia Bush has written a fantastic article on the women of the Anti-suffrage league bl.uk/votes-for-wome…
Thread. I am very worried that the Girl Guides is creating an institution and climate which is conducive to abuse.
Those who wish to access victims will exploit situations and put themselves in positions where they are surrounded by children. It is why paedophiles entered the Catholic Church, sports coaching, gymnastics coaching, children’s hospitals and homes.
One is not going to get much access to children while working on an oil rig.
