In this @CNN video claiming to present the "average female viewer" we have:
✔︎Gina Sosa, failed GOP Trumper candidate for #FL27
✔︎Irina Villarino, Trump supporter and operative who helped with GOP tax bill
✔︎Lourdes Castillo de la Peña, Ted Cruz operative and fundraiser 1/
.@GinaSosa, second from the right, is a tremendously unsuccessful GOP politician that got less than 2% of the primary vote in #FL27 who is working hard for any relevance within the party. huffingtonpost.com/entry/candidat… 2/
Irina Villarino, seated in the middle, is a Trump supporter. In the attached article and below, she is pictured sitting immediately to Trump's left in GOP tax bill roundtables set up to help propel the GOP with small business owners in FL. diariolasamericas.com/florida/presid… 3/
Lourdes Castillo de la Peña, second from the left in the white sweater, is a Republican operative from Miami who is very active in the GOP and who worked on Ted Cruz's campaign and hosted a $1000/plate luncheon as a fundraiser. miamiherald.com/news/politics-… 4/
Also seeing, (no confirmation yet) that the other two women are also GOP plants. It took minutes for twitter to get this info.
Did @CNN not research at all or did they intentionally present GOP operatives as the "ordinary woman" to stir the pot and get ratings? 5/
Until @CNN explains exactly why they showed such disregard to victims with this salacious segment, I can only guess it's because they are incompetent or trying to get traction or both. I won't be watching #CNN until they explain and correct it-I hope you will do the same. 6/
Shout out to @realshawnbrandt for his background info-I'm sure there are others putting it out, but I was working off of his posts. Thank you, Shawn.
UPDATE: The woman in the grey suit on the far right (no pun intended) is also very active with the GOP political scene in Miami. Her name is Angela Vasquez and she's the past President of Women's Republican Club of Miami. Here is the link to that group: wrcmf.org/leadership.html

I wanted to take a minute to talk about the OUTSTANDING work of @SenAmyKlobuchar over the past few days and dedicate an entire thread to it. She's been steady, compassionate AND persuasive, despite incredible misogyny from Kavanaugh and fellow senators. Let's start here...1/
The disrespect, contempt and combativeness displayed by Kavanaugh to @amyklobuchar was amplified to the women who questioned him. Here Kavanaugh continues to attack her, despite the fact that she is a sitting senator, interviewing him FOR A JOB. Watch how angry he gets. 2/
After a brief break, Kavanaugh comes back in and apologizes for the outburst to Klobuchar-this tells us 1. his team knew it was a bad look 2. he knew he lost his temper/was embarrassed 3. he couldn't even control himself during the most important job interview of his life. 3/
Here is the sworn affidavit of @MichaelAvenatti client Julie Swetnick, who claims she witnessed both Kavanaugh and Judge "cause girls to become inebriated...so they could be gang raped and also says she was a vicim of such a "gang rape" at a party where both men were present. 1/
In addition to claiming, under oath, that she was gang raped at one of the house parties attended by both Kavanaugh and Judge, Julie Swetnick specifically references "Beach Week" on page 2 of the affidavit that has just been filed on her behalf by @MichaelAvenatti. 2/
Kavanaugh's 1982 calendar has just been released and it also references "Beach Week." We can assume he did all of the things denoted in the calendar since he put it out. We can also assume he's talking about the same Senior Beach Week in Ocean City MD. 3/ washingtonpost.com/apps/g/page/po…
The George Papadopoulos defense sentencing memo is out and I am struck by several things, including what we know to be true based on common sense observation of patterned behavior by Trump and his associates and what can be proven in a court of law. 1/ documentcloud.org/documents/4807…
The first thing that struck me was the continued mentioning Papadopoulos' lack of experience and qualifications regarding US and Russian diplomacy. He was hungry and eager but he was completely out of his depth and had no real connections for Trump at the time. 2/
Trump hires a kid with no experience, qualifications or Russian connections to facilitate his supposed US/Russian foreign relations project because his MO is to demand TOTAL loyalty-it's easy to get from a young man, so appreciative of the opportunity, willing to do anything. 3/
I have read the #NunesMemo and will now break it down, point by ridiculous point. 1. 2nd pp: "Page is a US Citizen who served as a volunteer to the Trump Campaign-"Nunes states this as a fact-this directly disputes what Trump says: Page was never involved in his campaign.
2. Nunes details HOW the FISA warrant was obtained/references the direct reasons justifying it despite never having read the FISA warrant and not providing the underlying intelligence to the public to determine if this assessment is correct-we're supposed to take his word for it.
3. Steel is a respected investigator, whose claims have been proven. The FBI has funded his work as well. To claim Steele was involved does not discredit the basis of the application. But we have no way to know what the true basis was, as this was not released w/ the #NunesMemo.
THREAD: As a lawyer and the daughter of a judge, I am HORRIFIED by the incompetent Trump nominees before the Senate Judiciary Committee, who stand to get appointed FOR LIFE. 1/
I know that so many of you feel helpless to stop many of the actions of Trump and a Congress who will not show leadership to stop these unqualified nominees, BUT I AM ASKING FOR YOUR HELP. 2/
Here is a list of every member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Please chose on or more of these Senators and call (202) 224-3121 and ask for their office. Then tell them that you demand QUALIFIED people for lifetime judicial appointments. Then... 3/
