This will be unsurprising to anyone who has ever done any significant organising. It's par for the course in this day and age, but just amped to the extreme by my own exile/circumstances and the fact that the person I'm trying to support/save is a known CIA target+++.

But its not all about money

I very rarely talk about my situation but the reality is that I simply do not have even a bare minimum of community or social supports. I am fighting Goliath's and I'm barely a David. My situation needs high level international legal representation, NGO support & domestic help.

Unfortunately I have been discriminated against, at every turn, by the systems that are supposed to support people like me. Fortunately I do have wonderful friends and a lot of solidarity from amazing individuals with high integrity and intellect. I love you for caring about us

I have absolute conviction in my work, its importance and my dedication is unwavering. I just don't at present have the ability to be the superwoman I usually try to be, though I'm going to damn sure do my best regardless. Please bear with me.
