.@NARAL's been compiling just a few of the times Brett Kavanaugh has lied. Before the hearing tomorrow, where folks will surely be questioning Christine Blasey Ford's credibility, I thought I'd reup just few of Kavanaugh's lies here. Here goes:

During Kav's 2004 hearing, Kennedy asked him about his work on the nomination of anti-choice judge William Pryor. He responded, “I am familiar generally w Mr. Pryor but that was not one that I worked on personally.” Yet emails show that's false—Kav helped select & interview Pryor

2006: told Leahy that he wasn't involved in Bush’s wiretapping program & didn't know of its existence until it was publicly reported by NYT '05. Yet a now-public '01 email Kav wrote asked about the 4A implications of this:

2006 confirmation hearing, Kav told Durbin, “I was not involved and am not involved in the questions about the rules governing detention of combatants.” There are now at least three recorded examples of Kavanaugh participating in discussions of Bush administration detainee policy

In mid 2000s, Hatch asked Kav, “Did Miranda ever share, reference, or provide you w information that you believed or were led to believe was obtained or derived from Dem files?” He said, “No.” New emails show Kav did receive info & should have known it was improperly obtained

Kavanaugh clerked for Judge Alex Kozinski, who faced several allegations of sexual misconduct by former law clerks. There was, allegedly, an email list called the “Easy Rider Gag List” where Kozinski sent sexual and explicit jokes. Kavanaugh was asked “Has Judge Kozinski ever...

... made comments about sexual matters to you either in jest or otherwise?He said “I do not remember.”But a fmr clerk says “having clerked in his chambers I don't know how it's possible to forget something as pervasive as Kozinski’s famously sexual sense of humor or his gag list"

An email hidden by GOP and revealed by NYT showed that Kav has been hiding his true beliefs & would vote to end Roe. '03 email includes evidence that everything Kavanaugh said in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about “settled law” and precedent was nothing but a show

So when you dare to question the credibility of a survivor tomorrow, remember just how many times Kavanaugh has proven himself unfit for this position. #StopKavanaugh #BelieveSurvivors
