“I can’t tell you. I have to watch tomorrow,” @POTUS responds when asked if he thinks all three Kavanaugh accusers are liars. “They could be convincing.”
“If he thought he was guilty of something like this, sure” responds @POTUS if there is any chance he could withdraw Kavanaugh nomination.
“I’ve been accused, I believe it was by four or five women, who were paid to make up stories about me,” says @POTUS. “I never met these people.”

#China “has respect for Donald Trump’s very, very large (pause) brain.”
“I’m talking to him. We had a good talk,” replies @POTUS when asked if he’ll fire Rosenstein when they meet tomorrow. “I may delay that. But my preference would be to keep him.”

“I’m glad I got it out,” @POTUS says of his “two state solution” for Israelis and Palestinians. “Nobody wanted to say it. It’s a big thing to put it out.”
“You’re doing very well, say ‘thank you Mr. Trump,” @POTUS exclaims to @MarkLandler.
“I think I'll stop at that,” jokes @MarkLandler in response and asks a #China question.
“It all started with the WTO” and US officials who let #China “get away with murder.”
“It’s a very big cultural moment,” @POTUS says of the tension surrounding the Kavanaugh hearings. “Honestly, nobody knows who to believe. ...It’s a con game at the highest level.”
“There’s nothing beyond Supreme Court. This is beyond Supreme Court,” adds @POTUS. “In this case you’re guilty till proven innocent.”
And that’s it after 81 minutes.

“The New York Times’s story is inaccurate and factually incorrect,” Rosenstein said in a statement. “Based on my personal dealings with the president, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment.”
My colleague @masoodfarivar relays from source who was in room (with DAG when he made the comment): “I remember this meeting and remember the wire comment. The statement was sarcastic and was never discussed with any intention of recording a conversation with the president.”
