Why am I discussing Maupin?
#Iran’s state-run “Youth Journalists Club,” affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) ran this story today:

At a first glance, one may think wow! A brave American reporter coincidentally runs into a demonstration of “terrorists” in the middle of New York!

To be completely fair, here’s the video he posted of his encounter.

Now, many questions come to mind.

If Maupin is a “journalist” or a “reporter,” why does he get so angry?

I’ll discuss his allegations later on.

The #Iran opposition PMOI/MEK was delisted from the US State Dept’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations in 2012.

This is a lie spread by #Iran’s demonizing propaganda machine & never proven with facts.

If the MEK had such relations with Saddam, the U.S. would NEVER delist them & they would have vanish after 2003.

This shows how desperate Tehran is in the face of a simple demonstration & resorting to such individuals who claim to be “journalists,” while only disrespecting this profession.
