She talked about Mandated arbitration - at time of her hearing, civil rights act of 1991 gave women right to being awarded damages. SCOTUS then influenced how that law was then implemented

2% of workers in 1992 had contracts for mandated arbitration to get damages, now 53% do post 1992 Gilmer case.
So we see SCOTUS has opened previously our options to bring damages. With kavanaugh likely that SCOTUS will decrease those options #GraceHopper #gracehopper2018 #GHC18

Nun from elementary school testified at previous SCOTUS hearings. Not unprecedented for SCOTUS hearings to take a long time. Sth that happened in high school is relevant.
