If Gandhi & cong was really secular he should have appointed Jinnah as PM as demanded by Jinnah to avoid partition. Instead backed Nehru

Gandhi knew Jinnah was in his last days & suffering. Jinnah's Iranian Dr told Gandhi & Nehru that Jinnah 's days are counted .
