2/ but for the dim hue of modern day streetlighting. The beauty and intimacy of my surroundings gives the clarity needed to recognise Theresa May's actions and policies exactly for what they are - tyranny. She has played a masterstroke. Or maybe her puppetmasters have. /3

3/ We know the Tories are past masters at distractions such as blue passports. It happened this week with Jeremy Hunt's speech about the EU being like the Soviet Union. The justifiable outrage this has caused amongst #EU27 MEPs and #Brexit negotiators has led @Europarl_EN /4

4/ to debate his comments. As @guyverhofstadt said, Hunt has not so much insulted the Parliament itself (although I would contest that) but the millions of people who lived under the terror and oppression of Communist rule. Hunt is not old enough, or mature enough, /5

5/ to understand what that meant. Yet his comments have probably destroyed any chance of any "deal" - or negotiation of either a suitable Withdrawal Agreement or a Future Relationship Agreement between the UK and the EU. At that point, May played her ace card, her sole /6

6/ objective in #Brexit, to announce comprehensively that she will stop freedom of movement. This is the one strand of #Brexit that she has already announced in Parliament. In fact, as far as I am aware, the only strand of #Brexit that has not just been announced in some /7

7/ speech or another in a posh venue with a few journalists. Thus she has attempted to seal the fate of millions of people - destroying families, dividing the populations of both the UK and its neighbours and allies as "skilled" and "unskilled" aka "desirable" or "undesirable,"/8

8/ dismissing with contempt the work of generations to bring about & maintain peace & freedom in Europe. Remember, she has already been held in contempt of Court and in contempt of the British Parliament. Theresa May is nothing more than contempt, contempt, contempt.9

9/ Contempt for freedom of movement, contempt for family life, contempt for cultural, intellectual and commercial exchange between nations. And why? Because she was not capable of deporting Abu Hamza. This, from April 2016: /10

Given the chance to leave both, of course, she has jumped at it, but in so doing, /11

11/ will destroy the livelihoods & wellbeing of millions of families & individuals and threatens the security of the United Kingdom, its unitedness, and that of the entire European Community. I would now appeal to the #EU27, express your anger and your outrage in @Europarl_EN/12

12/ but then please help us defend ourselves and the EU from this tyranny. I appreciate that your patience has been tried beyond measure, but giving in now because you feel you have to defend your own citizens and wellbeing (which I support) you, too, condemn millions to /13

13/ Theresa's self-will and oppression. Less than 6 months from now, British borders will be closed. This is her plan to "reform human rights laws in this country." She professes this is only for people here "illegally", but if they are illegally here, there are already laws /14

14/ in place which they are breaking. This is about creating new laws which will make people legally here illegal. She tried it by destroying #Windrush and other documents which proved individuals' legal status. That was exposed for what it was and she should learn /15

15/ that her badly drafted policies end up with serious side effects and consequences which were either intentionally or ignorantly brought about. She professes mistakenly. But she would. That's how tyrants work.
