New report about voter roll purges by @BrennanCenter details how devastating the blow to the #VotingRights Act was in 2013. Purges increased by 33%!

In the last five years, 8 states have either illegally purged voters or implemented unlawful purge rules:

ALABAMA, ARIZONA, FLORIDA, INDIANA, MAINE, NEW YORK, NORTH CAROLINA & VIRGINIA

They are home to more than a quarter of the nation’s registered voters.
Thankfully, their report also includes recommendations every state can implement to protect voters. Please share them with people in your state!
