This is the type of street anarchy that routinely happens where I live. Here is video from 6 Oct showing Antifa directing traffic in downtown & threatening people who don’t obey with violence. Mayor @tedwheeler, who really runs this town?

And here is video of an elderly man who didn’t heed their street orders — so they chased him down. #Portland

Holy crap. One of their accepted academic articles to Affilia, a feminist social work journal actually was a rewrite of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf.” They swapped out anti-Jewry for intersectional jargon.

The fact this was considered by a feminist philosophy journal should tell you a lot. One paper they wrote suggested having “privileged” students lose speaking rights, be asked to sit on the floor and to wear chains during class. YIKES.

I just got back from the “abolish ICE” Portland camp. It’s become a sprawling parallel fortress society. The smell is memorable. Many rules (eg photography not allowed inside).

A bit of panic ensues when Portland Police finally go inside camp to post statements that space will be cleared. I followed them.

Sometime soon, the City of Portland will likely start clearing the anti-ICE/anti-borders camp (notices already posted more than 24 hours ago). In response, the camp has walled themselves off completely. They even have "wall guards" keeping watch. From the last hour:

I’m at the Portland ICE office that’s been blocked with protesters. Here, faeces, signs and tape block the entrance.

Along the wall, protesters write in chalk the names of ICE staff on the wall. “These pigs are attacking our community.”

Many tents have been set up around the building.
