A great ep first line to last.Loaded with intrigue and genuine suspense.All chapters were equally as important making it truly whole. #GoTS7

Eastwatch is on the opening credits map.! #GoTS7

also Highgarden and Casterly Rock didn’t make it into the opening credits during the past two episodes.! #GoTS7

Eastwatch is an important enough location to merit an episode title. #GoTS7

Previous episodes of Season 7 showed that the ocean to the east of the Wall had frozen over #GoTS7

BUT the water isn’t frozen over in the new credits that feature Eastwatch. #GoTS7

so expect this castle to be even more important going forward, if this is how the White Walkers are going to enter Westeros.? #GoTS7

Pass the Sentence, Swing the Sword. #GoTS7

Tyrion is worried Dany will be The Mad Queen. But he should have listened to her words. #GoTS7

Statement that all she wants to do is destroy the wheel is a callback to her idealism that drove her back in Meereen to end slavery. #GoTS7

But somewhere between Season 5 & Season 7, Dany seems to have absorbed the first rule that we, the audience, learned from Ned Stark #GoTS7

(Ned Stark)..he who passes the sentence must swing the sword.! #GoTS7

Dany may not have a sword (and she may have unnerved Tyrion with her choice), but she did, effectively, take this swing. #GoTS7

Daenerys is finally wearing Targaryen Red, and that's very important. #GoTS7

Dany has gone through many different and iconic looks since we first met her in S01 & each look reflects some aspect of her journey. #GoTS7

But one important color has been noticeably absent from Dany's wardrobe in past seasons: red, the color of House Targaryen. #GoTS7

Dany hasn’t had her red since she was with her brother Viserys. #GoTS7

In the third episode, we see her wear some more pronounced red as she welcomes Jon Snow in Dragonstone. #GoTS7

And this week, the red cape was back with her three-headed dragon jewelry. #GoTS7

Dany seems to be fully embracing her Targaryen lineage. And that could be very good, or very BAD. #GoTS7

There's been a theory floating around for a while that Dany might be in danger of going down the same path as her father Mad King. #GoTS7

That theory resurfaced during this episode, when Dany killed Lord Tarly & Dickon after they refused to pledge allegiance to her. #GoTS7

Still, Tyrion tried to see her reasoning. Varys, however, did NOT.
#GoTS7

Varys served as master of whisperers to King Aerys, and drew a savage parallel between Dany and her father. #GoTS7

So maybe the red is a visual signal that she's headed down the same path as her father. #GoTS7

Or maybe Dany's power is growing and she's just reclaiming her roots and leaning into the Targaryen Look. #GoTS7

This episode saw the end of Randall and Dickon after they refused to bend the knee and accept Dany as their rightful queen. #GoTS7

This was a callback to Robert Baratheon in S01 who recalled how his first kill was a "stupid" Tarly boy. #GoTS7

Robert Baratheon adds that "now the Tarlys bend their knee like everyone else" #GoTS7

Not for Dany which in turn caused her to permit Drogon to incinerate the two leaving Sam as the last surviving Tarly in Westeros. #GoTS7

Jon is the first character other than Dany in seven seasons to make contact with a dragon and live to tell the tale. #GoTS7

The dragons seemed intrigued by Dany’s Hand, but not immediately charmed. #GoTS7

As for Jon, before that breathtaking bonding moment in “Eastwatch,“ this was all the dragons had given him by way of attention. #GoTS7

So, will Dany be the only dragon rider? Most assuredly not. #GoTS7

There’s a prophetic dream sequence in the books that has Dany’s dead brother Rhaegar saying “the dragon has three heads.” #GoTS7

This is commonly accepted to mean that there will be three dragon riders in A Song of Ice and Fire. #GoTS7

Personally I don’t believe Tyrion is a secret Targeryen. But Tywin was forever going on about Tyrion not really being a Lannister. #GoTS7

That’s why most people believe Jon, Tyrion & Dany are the three fabled dragon riders of A Song of Ice and Fire. #GoTS7

I have to say, I’m unconvinced by Tyrion’s encounter with Rhaegal and Viserion in S06. #GoTS7

That just didn’t look like natural dragon/rider bonding to me. #GoTS7

The Mothers of Monsters.! #GoTS7

Cersei still reigns at the game of thrones. #GoTS7

"Maybe we can count on Tyrion to intercede on our behalf." #GoTS7

It's almost like Cersei knew something was going to happen involving her youngest brother. #GoTS7

After rightfully accepting Jaime's council, there was something very ominous in Cersei's line. #GoTS7

"She (Daenerys) has the numbers. If we want to beat her we have to be clever. We have to fight her like father would have." #GoTS7

How did Tywin win his battles? #GoTS7

Well, after getting outfought on the battlefield, he was only able to finally beat Robb by ambushing him at the Red Wedding. #GoTS7

He also opened the doors of the Red Keep to let Robert Baratheon's men take King's Landing during the final hours of The Mad King.#GoTS7

Cersei now knows that she she'll never defeat an army of Dothraki and Unsullied that's being led by three dragons. #GoTS7

In order to beat Dany, expect some of that famous Lannsiter deception and back-stabbing to appear in the next episodes. #GoTS7

That awkward moment :)))) #GoTS7

Dany reciprocates this emotive look when Jon is planning on leading the expedition beyond the Wall to capture a wight. #GoTS7

Take a look at her facial expressions when Jon touches Drogon, she learns that Jon will be leaving & their farewell on the beach. #GoTS7

"Our fathers ware good friends.." #GoTS7

Gendry and Jon had a first meeting that called back to the reunion of Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark. #GoTS7

Gendry even chosen to fashion himself a war hammer encrusted with the Baratheon antlers much like the one King Robert, used to carry. #GoTS7

Well, Robert's bastard is excellent with a hammer also. #GoTS7

The Gendry/Jon and Robert/Ned dynamic is made perfectly complete when you add the element of Arya/Lyanna Stark to the mix. #GoTS7

The Baratheon boys are historically fond of a Stark sister. #GoTS7

But once again, Gendry not bringing up Arya to Jon and instead leaning on the dad connection is . . . odd. #GoTS7

The moment Jaime and Cersei are hugging and she says, "Never betray me again" and Jaime opens his eyes, staring blankly ahead. #GoTS7

Was that the moment Jaime had his doubts about her pregnancy.? #GoTS7

We've all heard the prophecy that Maggy the Frog made to Cersei in her childhood. #GoTS7

When Cersei asks if she and the king would have children.? #GoTS7

Maggy replies:"Oh, aye. Six-and-ten for him, and three for you. Gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds." #GoTS7

Robert and Cersei would never actually share a child. Instead, Maggy is referring to the three babies that Cersei has with Jaime. #GoTS7

Jaime made it clear that he doesn't believe their army can beat Dany & her dragons. He also reveals that Tyrion didn't kill Joffrey. #GoTS7

This disappoints Cersei, due to him not ruthlessly killing Joffrey's real killer, Olenna, instead offering her suicide by poison. #GoTS7

Cersei also knows about Jaime secretly meeting with Tyrion, and how he now seems up for a truce with Dany. #GoTS7

Cersei is starting to doubt Jaime and his loyalty.But by telling him he's having another child, he won't feel the need to betray her. #GoTS7

I really think that in that final moment of the scene, staring straight down during their embrace, Jaime realizes what is happening. #GoTS7

And in that moment he realizes, she might be just as bad as the mad King. So could it prove to be Cersei ultimate downfall.? #GoTS7

Arya spies on Littlefinger and sees him being given a scroll by Wolkan. She waits for him to hide it and then searches it out. #GoTS7

Sansa's letter is the first news Robb hears of Ned's arrest, and he's shocked. #GoTS7

But Maester Luwin immediately recognizes Cersei's hand in the letter. #GoTS7

Littlefinger wants power, and he wants Sansa. He's seen how dangerous Arya is, and knows she probably doesn't trust him. #GoTS7

Arya returning to Winterfell puts his plans of gaining power over Sansa (and through her) at risk. #GoTS7

From LF's point of view, the more isolated Sansa is, the more vulnerable she is, and the more she'll rely on and listen to him. #GoTS7

There is already tension between Sansa and Arya – they've always been different, and their time apart has only made them more so. #GoTS7

GILLY TALKING ABOUT JON'S PARENTS #GoTS7

Gilly's little discovery confirms that Rhaegar had his first marriage to Elia Martell annulled, and then married Lyanna Stark. #GoTS7

Which means not only is Jon NOT a bastard – but also that HE IS THE TRUEBORN SON OF RHAEGAR aka NEXT IN LINE TO THE TARGARYEN THRONE.#GoTS7

We don't know why Rhaegar would've had his marriage to Elia annulled, but he must have had good reason. #GoTS7

This season, more than any other, is leaning quite hard on callbacks to dialogue from early episodes. #GoTS7

The phrase “I wish you great fortune in the wars/great war to come” is show-invented. This week, it was Jon Snow who said it. #GoTS7

But he’s far from the first. #GoTS7

It can sometimes serve as a forever parting (Arthur Dayne and Mance Rayder both said it just before dying) #GoTS7

But it’s been said often enough now that it no longer has a particularly morbid association. #GoTS7

Still, if you feel like being worried for Jon, you can go right ahead. Dany will appreciate the company. #GoTS7
