Canada has had around 28,000 irregular border crossings by asylum seekers since the beginning of last year. It's the highest in two decades, but represents less than 1/10th of 1% of our country's population.
More importantly, despite the dire predictions from the CPC that the number of asylum seekers was going to skyrocket this Summer, the numbers actually plunged in May, and again in June. We are down to about 1200-1300 a month. This is not a crisis.
