There's never a right time to say it, so I'm just gonna say it: I'm sorry for #VivekTiwari's life being cut short, but her wife, Kalpana's statement doesn't sit right with me. The way she says 'with so much trust _we_ brought BJP govt and how _we cheerlead_ Yogi becoming CM' +
+ And then she indignantly questions govt that inspite of this 'why are *we* treated like *this*'? (emphasis on we and this). The unsaid subtext is, these crimes are supposed to happen to Muslims, Dalits or other minorities/usually oppressed. Not Us!
+ You enthusiastically vote in a goon, a history-sheeter who is proud of the multiple charges against him for violent crimes and oppression against minorities, Muslims in particular. Then one day by intent or freak chance you end up being treated the same ("hamare sath aisa?")+
