It's still hard to believe that the #DACA program ended today, and that there is still no concrete legislation passed for 800,000 of us.
you know something, DACA really changed things. Not only for 800,000 of us, but for our families & communities. For me it came my senior yr
You cant undo our work as DACA recipients. You cant take back our education. You cant unsee our stories of triumph and struggles #HereToStay
Whether you agree with the program or not: there's no denying DACA truly changed the fight towards immigration reform. #UndocumentedUnafraid
Undocumented & unafraid young people truly pushed the limits to get DACA, to fight deportations & have our voices heard. & Not just now.
So yes @POTUS, @jeffsessions, & his admin can end the DACA program but they can't undo everything it has allowed us to do —especially fight
We are not only #Dreamers we are believers & most importantly doers. Alongside everyone who supports us we will fight for the #DREAMAct
And just as importantly for immigrant justice & immigration reform for our 11 million undocumented community. We are here & #HereToStay.

Y'all ready for a "did you know?" thread about undocumented immigrants? Well sit down & you'll see how it's not as simple as people think
Did you know there are over 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the US? This is also not by chance but b/c of broken policies
Did you know that 42% came legally and over stayed their visas? Did you know that in 2015 Canada had the highest number of overstayed Visas?

A thread of what #DACA is and isn't because #DACA works and it is nothing close to a "free ride."
#DACA is a workers permit. It is not a way to go to college. We still do not qualify for federal aid (FAFSA/Pell grants/student loans)
DACAmented folks PAY taxes. We (all undocumented imm) even add to Social Security taxes & don't see any of it.
