In Puerto Rico (and in the U.S. Virgin Islands), one full month after Hurricane Maria, the situation for millions of people remains dire.

Economy is at a standstill, & doctors use term “post-apocalyptic” to describe the state of healthcare; many are dying “preventable deaths.”

After over a century of colonization, Puerto Rico is now suffering from purposeful, murderous, and racist neglect at the hands of fascists.

Harvey hit TX: 5,300 repair workers dispatched
Irma hit Florida: 18,000 workers dispatched
Puerto Rico: 900 local workers doing most repairs

Trump brags that by now, 4 weeks later, 10,000 FEMA etc have been sent to Puerto Rico. But 37,000 FEMA etc were in TX w/in 6 days of Harvey.

Trump blames Puerto Ricans for $74 billion debt (actually a result of U.S. to begin with), &says that's the big obstacle to reconstruction.
