[RT requested]: Will cutting corporate tax rates increase wages?

This thread lists what CEOs had to say about the question:
HONEYWELL:
Cuts will "offer greater flexibility for Honeywell,” for dividends, mergers and acquisitions, share buybacks and paying down debt
AMGEN:
The drugmaker expects to continue to raise its dividend and buy back shares
LOCKHEED MARTIN:
looking at front-loading pension contributions to take advantage of any lower corporate tax rates next year
100 largest companies in Russell 2000 Index:
***0 out of 100*** answered a reporter when asked if tax cuts would mean more hiring
HILTON:
“hire more people,” and invest more in real estate and equipment

(nothing about increased wages, again)
And, of course, a reputable source linked because your #altGov is all about real facts, not those #altfacts

WYNDHAM:

“Lower taxes means better cash flow, more opportunity to invest.”

(Hint: wages aren't an investment under accounting rules)
REPATRIATION OF OVERSEAS PROFIT?

In 2004, gains from tax holiday was mostly returned to shareholders, not spent on factories and new jobs
ABBVIE recalls:
“The vast majority of that cash was spent in the form of share buybacks, which are good for stocks in the short run,”
WARREN BUFFET:
Tax cuts won't change anything

I haven’t seen commentary on the proposed merger of the Labor and Education departments. Fortunately, I’ve executed a few corporate mergers, and I need to reveal Trump's latest lie. [Thread]

Some history: The elimination of ED has been a GOP dream since Reagan. Even DeVos said:
One favorite argument is that ED is unconstitutional because it’s not in the Constitution.

The same could be said of NASA and the new #SpaceFarce, however. 🙄
