1/ I had no intention to do this #BariOluModi thread till someone sent a DM requesting me to do a fact check on this
thetruepicture.in/karnataka-deve…
2/ Though the name of the website is “The True Picture” just going through their twitter TL proves it is a RW propaganda machinery
3/ My objections to their above mentioned comparisons r selective use of data, skewed interpretations and one sided projections to suit BJP
4/ Karnataka is a big state in every national comparison. Comparing It’s growth rate with states like Arunachal, Jharkhand etc is illogical
5/ and purely a politically motivated exercise to demean the state. And if one notices, the states selected r not same for every comparison
6/ Let us do a detailed comparison of the state with same subjects. But unlike “The False Picture”
7/ And the authors of that article didn’t even know the difference between growth and development. Any how, let us start
8/ As 2015-16 data of all the states are not available for few comparisons, we r considering 3 three year period ending 2014-15.
9/ What the authors of the article did was, they picked up few states’ available data to deliberately mislead the the target audience
10/ NSDP Growth Rate is the first comparison they hv done. In bigger states Karnataka has the best Average
indiabudget.nic.in/Web%20Excel%20…
11/ Next is Per Capita NSDP Growth. We r going by latest available government document as reference point
indiabudget.nic.in/Web%20Excel%20…
12/ In both the above cases, Karnataka has the best 3 year average which is much above BJP’s “Most Developed State”
13/ Per Capita NSDP is the next. Now u know why the authors conveniently avoided taking Gujarat’s figures
indiabudget.nic.in/Web%20Excel%20…
14/ If we take all the states and UTs which the article did not mention, Gujarat will end up in the lower 10 of the list
15/ Their next comparison is FDI inflows to states. Here is the actual numbers of top 10 states from April 1, 2000 to March 31, 2017
16/ After doing Vibrant Gujarat drama for years, Gujarat could attract only 5% of the total FDI which came in to India. Karnataka has 7%
17/ Authors gave u just one year’s number. Here is the year wise details from 2008-09 to 2011-12
dipp.nic.in/sites/default/…
18/ The next point in the article is Karnataka’s IT Exports. The problem pointed out is Karnataka has given more prominence to IT industry
19/ Answer is, due to the locational advantage, Gujarat always had a thriving trading and manufacturing community. That’s not a BJP creation
20/ Next in line is the yield of few crops. Comparison is with Gujarat. This is the best example of how these idiots are befooling people.
21/ They compare the per hectare yield of wheat, bajra, oilseeds and groundnut. There is a problem here.
22/Look at the screenshot. None of the crops mentioned by these guys are the major crops in Karnataka.Maximum area is under rice cultivation
23/ Crop yield is not a constant one. Climate plays a major role. Karnataka had gone through 3 years of severe draught
24/ So, let us check the yield of rice per hectare in Karnataka and Gujarat. Let us treat these guys with their own medicine
25/ Average rice yield in 14dt of Karnataka is 3019kg/Hectare and it is 1839kg in Gujarat.
drdpat.bih.nic.in/PA-Table-10-Ka…
dag.gujarat.gov.in/images/directo….
26/ Instead of groundnut, take the yield of Coconut and see the difference in yield.

crops and crop patterns r different for both states.
27/ In the same way, we can counter other crops too. The crux of the matter is, none of the mentioned crops are major crops in Karnataka
28/ And such a comparison can be done only by idiots and only fools will fall for such propaganda
drdpat.bih.nic.in/Productivity%2…
29/ Now the guys r coming in to Social Sector Indicators and starting with Atrocities against SCs and STs.
30/ The same guys who kept Gujarat away in initial comparisons taking Gujarat as their benchmark here
31/ Crime against SC / STs. Let us take the same set of states and few other BJP ruled states and do a comparison.
ncrb.nic.in/StatPublicatio…
32/ The next in line is the better conviction rate of culprits who do such atrocities in “Developed Model State”. What is the truth?
33/Conviction rate for atrocities against SC & STs in Gujarat in 2015 was 3.4% n 1.8%.National Avrg was 28.8% & 37.9
boomlive.in/gujarat-sees-m…
34/ Communal Violence in Gujarat Vs Karnataka is their next comparison point. A detailed analysis is here
mattersindia.com/2017/01/commun…
35/ The analysis shows, In almost all the cases of communal riots in India, either RSS or its affiliates include BJP were included
36/ Almost all of them were against one particular minority community and when the elections approach, the number of incidents goes up
37/ To show the number of farmer suicides, these guys are showing a weird comparison. Comparing Karnataka with Gujarat!
38/ Here is the Actual Comparison. BJP ruled states tops the chart.
ncrb.nic.in/StatPublicatio…
39/ As a pattern, the idiots - authors of the article - conveniently removed Gujarat when they compared HDI parameters
40/ They compared Women empowerment, IMR, Immunisation, MMR and life expectancy at birth.
41/ in all the above mentioned parameters, longest BJP ruled states - MP and Gujarat are the worst performing big states.
42/ An analysis of data fm NFHS 4 shows, AP n MP r the worst performers in this group of states in women empowerment
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…
43/ Rajasthan is not doing great either. Gujarat is far behind WB. Kerala tops the chart
44/ Infant Mortality Rate. See the difference between what those bhakts wrote and what the fact is
rchiips.org/nfhs/factsheet…
45/ Immunisation: 2 longest BJP ruled states developed so much that they struggle to get 50% children Immunised!
rchiips.org/nfhs/factsheet…
46/ Maternal Mortality Ratio - Gujarat had the lowest percentage of decrease in 9 years - just 30%
niti.gov.in/content/matern…
47/ Life Expectancy at Birth. The graphic chart shows why Gujarat was not there in authors’ list 😁
niti.gov.in/writereaddata/…
48/ This is the best example to see how low Sanghis can stoop to show others in bad light while they r in neck deep dirt.

End.

1/As Modi govt claims, Negotiations with Rafale didn’t fail, but differences ironed out and Dassault and HAL signed a work share agreement.
As everyone claim, Dassault Reliance JV was not formed in 2016, but immediately after Modi’s announcement

2/ Modi’s Rafale Deal Time Line:
March 10, 2015 - Dassault Annual Results 2014 released. It says “the continuation of exclusive negotiations with the Indian authorities and Indian industrial partners to finalize the contract for the sale / licensing of 126 RAFALE,”
3/ March 11, 2015
CEO Eric Trappier says Dassault and HAL signed a work share agreement. “This is the first time Dassault agrees to be a co-contractor.”

1/ Modi Govt, cabinet ministers, BJP spokespersons and party supporters, fake defence experts and spineless journalists are all speaking in the same voice and parroting the govt stand on #Rafale36. But Modi’s #Rafale36 deal is not just about the price escalation. #Thread
2/ Neither BJP Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman nor blog minister Arun Jaitley never answered anything about the following questions: When did IAF requested for 36 Rafale? To whom did IAF submit the request? Which committee held the meeting?
3/ Who chaired the meeting? When did the approval for 36 aircrafts given? Who approved it? Why the then Defence Minister Parrikar was not aware of the deal? Why did Parrikar say it was the decision of PM soon after Modi’s announcement from Paris?

1/ When Modi ordered #Rafale36 off the shelf from France, Modi himself and his ministers, other BJP leaders along with Modi bhakt Media reporters kept repeating and keep repeating one sentence- “it is an emergency purchase for IAF”
2/ If it was an emergency requirement, it would have been ordered under the Fast Track Procedure of DPP. If so, when did IAF submit the proposal for 36 Rafale and did the then Chief of Air Staff approve it? When was the approval given by DAC and did Mr Parrikar know about this?
3/ If IAF submitted its proposal and DAC approved it, when did the meeting take place? When was this proposal processed?
If not, who gave the he number 36 to Modi? How could Modi take such a unilateral call in violation of all the set procedures? And why he did so?

1/ No Mrs @nsitharaman. This is another false statement from you.
The first question is, who gave the permission to PM to take a unilateral decision and why didn’t he wait for a CCS approval before his announcement?
Why did the then Defence Minister was not consulted?
2/ Another question you never answered is why did Modi govt agreed on Geneva as the seat of arbitration? And why did Modi govt agreed to pay in advance before the delivery?
How did such big a deal went through without the mandatory bank guarantee from Dassault?
3/ If Dassault falters on delivery schedule, in absence of a bank guarentee, what is the security Modi govt got from France?
Why did law Ministry’s red flag on the contract was sidelined? Who advised for that? And for whom?

1/ Why Modi government’s #Rafale36 is not a transparent deal and why the cost of around ₹1670 crore per Rafale is too exorbitant a price? Why Opposition is calling it #RafaleScam?
We have clear answers available in public domain given by The then DM Parrikar. #RafaleScamThread
2/ A Ministry Of Defence press release dated 28 August 2007 states the then government’s estimated cost for the MMRCA deal with total 126 aircrafts were ₹42,000 i.e 333.33 cr per aircraft.
pib.nic.in/newsite/erelco…
3/ Immediately after Modi Announced the #Rafale36 deal from France, in an interview to a News Channel, the then DM Manohar Parrikar told “if we go for 126 Rafale, the total cost would have been 90,000 crore ‘inclusive of everything’”.

1) Let us revisit the 17 days starting from March 25, 2015 to April 10, 2015 to understand how the Rafale deal changed altogether. #thread
2) 25/03/3015: Eric Trappier, CEO of Dassault Aviation held a press conference at their facility in the presence of Indian Ambassador to France, senior IAF officials and HAL Chairman said they are happy to announce the strengthening of their relationship with HAL +
