Hi, #GunSense crowd? I'd like to help you if I could. Let's take a walk, shall we? Here we go: I am a #2A Defender and #ConcealedCarry advocate - WAIT, DON'T RUN AWAY!!!! - but I would also like to end #GunViolence and promote #GunSafety. You alright!? Still with me? Okay.

The realistic way to do this, while protecting our #2A right to keep & bear arms (#RKBA) is to fix and enforce the gun laws already on the books. There should also be harsher penalties for people who 'lie & try' as well as felons found in possession of a weapon. Still good? Good.

We would also fix the background check system (NICS) - FIX, NOT CHANGE - and we know that teaching small children what to do if they ever come across a gun and promoting gun safety to older children PREVENTS accidents, so we'd like to do that, too.

I know that's a lot, but we'd also like to carry in schools, malls, etc. in an effort to STOP any criminal who tries to inflict harm in these 'gun free zones'. As you may have noticed, criminals don't follow laws, so perhaps making MORE LAWS (as you like to do) is not the answer.

If you could stop attacking us long enough to engage in a rational, fact-based conversation, you might see where we're coming from long enough to realize that the solutions we make WILL WORK. We're not evil, deranged, or insane, I assure you.

We are simply looking to implement a reasonable plan to solve these issues together while protecting our #2A #RKBA. It's not that difficult to understand... is it?

Law-abiding citizens are not the problem, criminals are the problem.
Therefore, piling MORE laws onto the GOOD CITIZENS rather than addressing the behavior of the individuals who chose to be BAD CRIMINALS when they disobey laws, would be... stupid, that's right, good job!
