Guys in an attempt to find out who really owns major South African mineral companies, I request that you please assist in verifying the authenticity of the following information.
Hernic Ferrochrome (Pty) Ltd is a South African company HQ’d in Brits (SA) and is 51% owned by Mitsubishi Corporation which is a Japanese company.
Silicon Smelters Pty Ltd appears to be a unit of a company called Ferroatlanticaa SL, a Spanish company HQ’d in Madrid. The hard document lists Anglo American plc, BHP Billiton, and Pechiney Mattalurgie as owners of Silicon Smelters.
