I read through a lot of tweets about this hashtag #InternsNotBeastsOfBurden and I would like to say some of you are either ignorant af or just want to comment to fit in.

For you to understand fully what this means, you need to first understand what the term "UNEMPLOYMENT " really means. Unemployment includes even those working but cannot afford the basic things in life and 2 beers every weekend is not a basic necessity.

When over 50% of employable population is unemployed, majority of that being the youth. It naturally means that it's us the youth who should be pressing the government to play it's part in handling this issue. But you know what, we are the youth fuelling this shit

I know some of you have seen the word "government " up there and have started feeling some type of way- you are the fucktads I'm talking to and you will realise as the thread progresses.

Most of you even older guys will just respond to this with, "but si you can start your own business it's not a must you be employed ", I want to say what a bunch of silly motherfuckers you are. You are ignorant. You think there's is a template to solve life problems where there..

...exists millions of variables that may render your template redundant. You have been served a fallacy over the years and you are drunk,you are full so you can't think properly.

They tell start a business, I have no problem with that at all. My worries are, do you have the knowledge to but most importantly is it the right environment and time to invest your life savings to an activity with no guaranteed returns on your investment?

This "start a business "fallacy is a idea with terms and conditions that you are not told but the government has them. The government wants you to fix it's inefficiency by gambling with your life savings. You remember those supervisers at work who present your projects as theirs

....? That's how the government is handling this issue.
There are a lot that goes on behind the scenes that doesn't meet the publics eye and again I will point fingers at ignorance.

..an environment that government itself which has outresourced you,outsmarted you,disarm you and out financed you, cannot do its business of provision of essential goods and services? Look at health sector for instance, people are dying in cancer queues,ask yourself why?

It means it will a point where the population will only spend on essential goods and services. What is this you as a start up wants to sell that people must buy to live? Oxygen, life or human blood? You are now probably asking yourself "but people have done it before? "...

As to the youth and other age groups with myopic views to this, I have issues with you.
During the past campaign period we saw a plethora of politically sponsored online campaigns here. I can't blame anyone for chasing that paper but my question for you is this....

...why you changing your twitter handles after the campaigns? You are ashamed of it all now? You supported a government that got into power not because you believed in their policies but because you were given few coins. Why the fuck can't hold them accountable and clean your...

Unemployment is real epidemic people, you hear stories out here it's not fun. Some of us have stories we can't even share online. Just like police brutality, it will "only affect " once it hits closer to you. Jobs cannot be wished away just like that. We can have both jobs.....

...and small and medium businesses. They have stolen from everywhere including money meant for wheelchairs, don't let them steal your savings by tricking you into start ups in an environment not conducive for business.
