Your friendly reminder: James Comey committed TWO distinct & separate felony crimes when took classified documents with him from the FBI & gave at least 1 of them to a professor friend:
I should also like to point out that the DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who has been thoroughly investigating political fixing at the DOJ/FBI [it's why we know the names 'Strzok' 'Ohr' 'Page', etc.] will release interim findings on Jan. 15th.
1 good reason Sen. Grassley has been having such trouble getting the DOJ to comment on Comey & his classified memos is due to the fact there's an ongoing DOJ investigation into this very matter.
It should be remembered: Horowitz started his investigation back on January 12th, 2017. Any documentary evidence he's collected in building his case, he gets precedence over any later investigation started by Congress based on HIS findings.
This is why when Nunes or Grassley or Gowdy or whoever demands to know why they can't see these documents yet, it should be remembered: the DOJ will NOT compromise an ongoing investigation. Nor comment on it until it is completed.
Congress leaks like a sieve. We all know this. Any info handed to these Committees or to Judicial Watch too early is going to be rushed into publication.
Good prosecutors do not try to build a case in the press in front of the public gallery until they are good and ready.
When Horowitz released a small sample of his findings 4 weeks ago, we got immediate Congressional hearings.
Based on stuff that Horowitz uncovered, we got fun Congressional hearings about HRC/DNC funding the Steele Dossier, we got to learn names like Stzok, Priestap, McCabe, Lisa Page, Bruce & Nellie Ohr, etc.
Let the man finish his work.
Because I'm pretty sure as the Inspector General with oversight over the FBI, he's intimately involved in the question of Comey taking classified memos from the FBI with him.
He'll roll out all his findings when he's ready.
/end.
Addendum: Never underestimate the power of DNC Media to get their first with their false narrative.
My mentions have been filled with people pontificating about classified documents without any understanding about them.
"Those were Comey's personal papers!"
"It's not a classified document until somebody MARKS it classified!"
"It wasn't classified at the time!"
"It only became classified information later!"
No.
All of these are wrong.
If you'll recall, Hillary Clinton TRIED this defense, that a document is only classified if it's MARKED as being classified. Since some documents weren't clearly marked as being classified, no problem if they were sent/received by her unsecure server.
As was patiently explained at the time, a document is classified due to the fact of it's CONTENTS, not whether it's ever actually marked 'classified' or not.
If a document CONTAINS classified information in it, it is by it's nature CLASSIFIED whether anybody ever officially marks it classified or not.
I can tell from reading my mentions people have been deliberately confused by the media about this.
Hillary Clinton & her aides were aware they were sending/receiving classified information over an unsecure private server.
James Comey was aware he was taking documents with him who's CONTENTS made them classified information after he was fired as FBI Director.
Charging these people with mishandling/exposing classified information SHOULD HAVE BEEN a snap. It was a no brainer.
The only thing that's stopped Hillary & her aides and Comey from being charged thus far?
Political fixers inside the DOJ/FBI doing political fixing.
But that's OK.
This guy is now on the trail of these political fixers.
And he's a bloodhound.
The fact that Sessions is NOW moving to reopen the #HillaryEmails investigation, and the #UraniumOne investigation tells you he thinks the political fixers have been sufficiently smoked out and sidelined at this point.
They can't fix the new investigations.
Strzok can't influence these new investigations.
McCabe can't fix them either.
Neither can Priestap, the Ohrs or Page or any of the others who've been exposed thus far.
Sessions announcing this reopening of the Hillary Emails investigation tells me the ISOLATION phase of Horowitz's investigation has been completed.
And now the INVESTIGATION phase is almost completed. That means the PROSECUTION phase comes later this year.
ISOLATION: Identify the suspected political fixers who've been compromising/sabotaging DOJ/FBI investigations & isolate them on Mueller's team.
INVESTIGATION: thoroughly investigate EVERYTHING these people touched the last few years
PROSECUTION: roll out your case against them
On January 15th, Horowitz is rolling out a PRELIMINARY FINDING of 1.2 million documents that he will present to the Congress.
His final report is coming at an as yet unannounced date later this year.
But when that report hits, it's going to cause shockwaves.
Sessions & his team had to spend MOST of the first year running the DOJ spotting who the political fixers were, isolating them, investigating them and building a case to prosecute them.
Sorry people, but you don't do that in six weeks.
When you investigate the investigators, you have to go slow and you have to be very careful and you have to be very very good.
Now that Horowitz is likely over 90% finished with his work, and the political fixers have been ID'd and sidelined, Sessions can have enough CONFIDENCE that a fair & HONEST investigation into Hillary's email server & Uranium One can be done.
We now know how bad the political fixing was in the DOJ: they not only fixed investigations to make sure Hillary & Co. walked away clean;
they went on to try to MANUFACTURE cases against the incoming Trump administration.
It was absolutely vital that the DOJ be cleared of these people and that they not be allowed to influence or sabotage any future DOJ investigations.
Sessions did what he had to do.

You know how a jet fighter launches chaff to throw the enemy off the target?
I'm halfway convinced it was the **TRUMP TEAM ITSELF** in the White House sending out people to be anonymous sources spreading these "OMG Kushner is an IDIOT!" stories in the Fake News Media.
Trump is a master of information warfare.
If anybody started putting 2 and 2 together and snooping around what Kushner was up to, I can totally see the White House sending people out to anonymously seed the media with stories like...this:
All the anonymous sources were in agreement: this Kushner guy is just benefiting from having married Trump's daughter, he's in way WAY over his head, has got no clue what he's doing.
The only thing **different** about how Comey won't answer the questions put to him by these Congressional commitees [other than the standard "I don't recall"] is he won't be saying:
"I can't comment on that because it's currently part of an ongoing federal investigation."
Instead Comey will be saying THIS:
"On the advice of my legal counsel, I invoke my Fifth amendment rights."
or
"My counsel has advised me not to discuss this, and so I won't."
To people endlessly asking me if President Trump is aware of and taking steps to combat this whole "Color Revolution" playbook:
Yes, he is aware of it.
Yes, he is taking steps to deal with it.
No, he's not going to tell you what they are.
The biggest assumption people make is because Trump hasn't **publicly rolled out** his strategy for dealing with this threat that is all over the media & we're all talking about it is because....he's blind to it.
I've had to endlessly explain this for going on 2 years now:
While the investigation is ongoing, you wouldn't learn anything from subpoenaing these goons because they'd do what COMEY & STRZOK & Mueller & everybody else did when they testified before Congress.
Right?
How many times did you want to hear over and over
"I'm sorry I cannot answer that question because the matter is currently under investigation by the Dept. of Justice" or the dozen of variations to that?
Because THAT'S what you would have heard before now.
