In short, this isn’t abt helping ppl find work. It’s not abt improving ppls health. It’s a tactic to reinforce myths and divide us by... 8/

Making it seem like the reason ppl are poor is bc they don’t work while evoking racist stereotypes. nothing could be further from truth. 9/

If Trump/GOP were serious about helping ppl work & be healthy, @amprog @talkpoverty team has some ideas for them americanprogress.org/issues/poverty… 10/

In meantime, let’s cut the BS & call these “Work requirements” what they are: a cruel & counterproductive cut to our health insurance
