When I had my company running I had about 15-20 men working at any given time. Their pay was around 80-120,000 depending. My sis-in-law the feminist was pissy because I didn’t have one female working for me in over 20 years. 1/
I explained that women weren’t interested in working that hard to make this kind of money. BS she said. I was just a sexist, redneck asshole. So, I offered her a job. I told her there were no favors coming and she’d be expected to keep up with our newest employee a 2/
22 year old fresh from NAIT. He was a tall gangly guy who she was sure she’d keep up to. Over the weekend I gave her our 800 pages of safety literature and tested her on the pertinent parts only. Then, Monday morning at 4:AM we took off for Nordegg.

We were testing a new line 5 km long. It required us to hike in our equipment about 2 km through muskeg. Each trip we needed to carry 40-80lbs. Each guy made 3 or 4 hikes and then the real work began. No cold water, no toilets, no reprieve from mosquitoes and black flies. 4/
Sis-in-law managed one load and about an hour up to her butt in swampy, stinking muskeg and then stayed with the truck. We worked 12 hours and she was bitchy about waiting 8 hours at the truck for us. But, she NEVER asked why I had no females working for me again. 5/
So, it’s funny when #abndp & Libs complain that men get the highest paying jobs. They don’t understand that in the real world EQUAL pay requires EQUAL work.

So, when these lefty nuts are comparing pay, they really shouldn’t be talking apples and oranges. My guys making 6 figures, working 80 hours a week in harsh conditions can’t be compared to a lady in an office 9-5 wearing heels and making $30,000. End/
