First thread on Twitter for me being a Trump supporter and #DACA. I have had a hard time understanding why the left feels to protect illegal aliens and care about them more than Veterans. I decided to think outside the box and have a dialogue with a liberal Twitter friend of mine

This friend of mine who is none other than @SarahKSilverman. I Know many of my followers might not like her, but she has always treated me with respect from the beginning. We have had good discussions, so I really want to find out why they support this.

I know she is very busy and was kind enough to answer my questions, which I thought was a heart felt response. But, the comments I received from liberal followers of hers is what changed my view. I personally believe there seems to be fake news all round the media and here is why

Fellow Trump supporters say the left cares more about illegals then they do about Veterans. And this is not so. Many of the comments said they care just as much about vets and the Military as they do with the dreamers, in fact many showed me that a lot of dreamers are vets.

The sad thing is that only 1 percent of Americans join the U.S. Military, so for a dreamer to answer the call of duty I call them a brother or sister in arms for defending the American people and constitution of the United States.

I was shocked to find out that there are veterans who honorably served for many years who are being deported because of how their parents came to the country. I personally feel this is wrong, if we support Vets, we should support all Vets.

I'm rethinking how I feel about DACA because it is a very sensitive human rights issue, and it that can't be comparable to other daily lives, we can't punish children even young adults for not knowing. And especially if they are law abiding citizens who work hard for families.

I honesty do no believe in separating families And I decided that there should be a clean act and vetting system for dreamers. Many people might be upset with me going this route and that's OK, I think for myself and I still support our President.

I support the wall because we do need protection from the dug cartel in Mexico & there are bad people that do cross over like the one who murdered #KateSteinle. As a Vet I understand the security situation which is needed but dreamers deserve compassion with the situation.

Their fault is not their own, and I think every case should be looked at and not deport all dreamers. If I lose followers or support because of this that's OK. I am having strong convictions of this & I partially blame all media with misinformation on both sides.

Everyone cares about Veterans, including Democrats. Everyone cares about the safety of people in America. I really believe this is what we need to start doing, not preaching to the choir as they say but talk to the left find out where they are coming from.

As for my Twitter friend @SarahKSilverman, I ask my followers & fellow Trump supporters to take it easy on her. She is not vile or hateful like you say. I am aware of her satire on Christianity but as a Jew I get where she is coming from.

We get comments like Christ killers, so much hatred from white supremacist who claim to be Christian, so she handles the situation beautifully by comedy instead of hate. More I talk with @SarahKSilverman I respect her a great deal and I hope to continue this dialogue with her.

is truly helping me understand why liberals think the way they do and I really appreciate that, thank you. I will have your back if anyone gives you a hard time.

Lastly I want to say I stand with all Americans, all good people, who were born or immigrated. My own mother is an immigrant as well as my grand parents on my father's side, and most of all, I stand with our Military and Veterans.
