I'll admit I haven't read the entire Louise Linton Elle article, but this line from her bestie is maybe my favorite: "She’ll fall asleep on the sofa in front of a film and [Mnuchin will] carry her up to sleep. And then she’ll fall asleep in the bathroom." So. Many. Questions.
1. Why are you being carried to bed? My partner has never carried me when sleeping because I'm not a child. That's weird. especially in front of company.
2. Why are you falling asleep in the bathroom? Are you narcoleptic?
Unfortunately, no photographic evidence for @claremccann and I to recreate. Bummer.
Another favorite, "She is obsessed with dogs, especially sick ones. So much so that she once made friends with a homeless man named Richard in a park in Los Angeles because she was concerned about the health of his dog."
I can just picture the reporter thinking, "Yeah, I'm just going to let this speak for itself."
Also there is a #4profit tie-in in this article (@claremccann pointed it out to me). Linton got her law degree from unaccredited University of West Los Angeles Law School. A few things about this school:
It's really affordable, especially if you're Louise! But if you're not "blessed and fortunate" like her you can take out a private loan from Wells Fargo to cover it.
And what about those bar passage rates? Let me see what is on the school's website... aw! Cute! I see what you've done there.
Like any government website, it was difficult to track down the bar passage rate. Too bad the West Los Angeles University didn't direct me right there. Maybe they have something to hide?
And, hey, they're seeking accreditation through WASC. This definitely seems like a good candidate for taxpayer dollars and screwing students over.
Did you think this thread was going to take this higher ed turn? What a weird denouement.
