There's a lot of distortion of facts. To add to this many say they'll 'teach' Narendra Modi a lesson in 2019.
With this thread, I attempt to both show the incredible work he's done and also why he's going to win 2019 as a result of unprecedented support from the poor.

Went to a SBI Mutual Fund seminar yesterday. They talked of two of their funds — equity hybrid fund and a blue chip fund. The hybrid fund had 50% in large caps and 50% in mid/small cap stocks (and maybe a max of 10% in cash/debt) while the blue chip fund is all large caps.
A very simple understanding of the two in comparative terms —
1) Equity hybrid fund — More risk and expected return due to the 50% in mid and small caps; apt for investors who have tolerance and ability for greater risk
2) Blue chip fund — Less risk thus considered safer
Pic 1: Blue chip fund
Pic 2: Equity hybrid fund

Basic understanding —
Standard deviation: Measure of volatility
Sharpe ratio: Simply the return earned per unit of risk; more the better
Beta: Volatility of stock in comparison to market movement; 1 means stock moves with market

"A prime minister with a golden heart" 😃

A government that listens. Felt like a myth, right? But now, not only does the government listen, but even ACTS. Here are a few incidents when the PMO directly intervened to help the common man, at times even saving lives.

🔹An 8-day-old girl was suffering from a grave medical condition. PM Modi ensured a traffic-free passage for the rescue team who air lifted the child to a hospital. The child was saved.
"He is our God today," said the child's father for PM Modi.

🔸Vaishali Yadav, a class 2 student, needed surgery for a hole in her heart, but her parents couldn't afford it. She wrote to PM Modi and the response was immediate. Her operation was funded by the PMO.
Below is a heartwarming picture of PM Modi with Vaishali.

"Rahul acknowledges that China is the competition" — How cute!
Truth is, the real reason why India so desperately lags behind China is your family.
I'm sure people like you aren't used to facts because you're fed a load of crap, but still...here are some exposing the family.
🔹When India was ahead of China in terms of real GDP per capita (real GDP is one that's adjusted for inflation/deflation) —
* During 1970-1980, India's was $658 while China's was $402 (64% more).
* During 1980-1990, India's was $922 whereas China's was $698 (still 32% more).
🔹Today —
* China's nominal GDP is 4.9 times India's.
* China's GDP on PPP basis is 2.44 times India's.
* China's nominal GDP/capita is 4.64 times India's.
* China's GDP on PPP/capita is 2.31 times India's.
