The Affordable Care Act repeal that @realDonaldTrump and @HouseGOP tried to jam through last year would’ve gutted #mentalhealth care access for millions of Americans.
The @realDonaldTrump budget plan would cut millions from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.
The @realDonaldTrump budget plan also would slash $665 million from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, & the National Institute of Mental Health would see a 30 percent cut — $500 milion — in 2019.
Don’t be taken in by @realDonaldTrump’s lip service re: #mentalhealth & #gunviolence. As usual, his actions belie his words – and his actions aren’t helping Americans.
