Right so - I have seen, over and over and over again, trans excluding feminists treat with contempt, disdain, and disbelief the FACT that almost of half trans children attempt suicide and/or self harm. And they need to be called on it.

Terfs, as a rule, will rubbish, dismiss and disbelieve ANYTHING which humanises trans people. It is why they cling so vociferously to the pathologising framing of trans people, and particularly trans women, as mental degenerates. It is why they play UP anything which fits that..

framework (such as the outdated 'trans as mental illness model' as promoted by Blanchard for example). They NEED people to doubt anything which shows that trans people are just human beings, trying to live their lives. The last thing they want is for people to see that..

..trans men are not, in fact, 'self-loathing and deluded lesbians' (as they insist), and that trans women are not, as it turns out, predatory men trying to access womens spaces for sexual kicks.

That's why Transgender Trend push so heavily for conversion therapy for trans children. And yes, it IS conversion therapy they are pushing for - it is why the criticised the Memorandum of Understanding on Conversion Therapy, because it PROTECTS CHILDREN from conversion therapy:

Study, after study, after study *repeatedly shows* that up to HALF of trans children attempt suicide and self harm. Not just the @stonewalluk report last year. Use google. Have a look for yourself. Stonewall are NOT the first to show this.

Ask yourself - honestly - why so-called adults who purport to seek the best care and protection of children, would systematically disbelieve children who do not - CANNOT - conform to the gender binary which *they* insist on?

Ask yourself - honestly - why so-called adults would conflate trans girls, not even yet teens, with sexual predators; ask yourself - honestly - why so called adults react to the news that societies condemnation of trans children results in high rates of self harm and

..attempted suicide by actually, literally, telling them to 'get on' with it? (See below). Why a so called adult would disbelieve children's distress to the extent that they can treat that distress with such contempt, that they would literally urge children to kill themselves?

If you listened closley to the #VictoriaLIVE panel yesterday, that conflation was given a national spotlight (approximately 1hr 15 mins in)

In reference to the Girl Guides inclusion of trans girls:

When your argument constantly loops back to 'self-id = danger from violent males" AND YOU REFER BACK TO THAT WHEN DISUSSING CHILDREN do NOT then attempt to deny that you are equating them with the very violent males to whom you are constantly referring when discussing self id.

#HandsOffOurTransKids terfs.

Your degrogatory, abusive language about WHO THEY ARE is the reason why so many of our trans kids are so traumatised, that they harm themselves or try to end their lives.

If you aren't prepared to own that the conflations you make are purposful

..and deliberate, then at least have the decency to keep your indecent disdain and fear AS FAR AWAY from them as possible.
