THREAD⬇️ After Britain voted for Brexit, big banks made plans to relocate thousands of their U.K.-based jobs to new hubs inside the EU. We tracked the jobs the banks say they plan to move #tictocnews
UBS could be moving 1,500 of it’s 5000 UK-based jobs to Frankfurt, Madrid, and likely elsewhere
Goldman Sachs might relocate 1,000 of it’s 6,000 U.K.-based jobs to Frankfurt
HSBC is said to be moving 1,000 of it’s 5,000 U.K.-based jobs to Paris
Societe Generale could also be moving 400 of it’s 2,000 U.K.-based jobs to Paris
Bank of America has similar plans. They’re said to be to relocating 300 of it’s 4,500 U.K.-based jobs to Paris
Morgan Stanley, which employs 6,000 staff in the U.K, could relocate 200 jobs to Frankfurt, and 80 jobs to Paris
Barclays might move 150 of it’s 10,000 U.K.-based jobs to Dublin
And Nomura, which employs 2.300 U.K. staff, could relocate up to 100 jobs to Frankfurt

MORE: The world's oldest and biggest fish market, Tsukiji literally translates as “constructed land.” In 1923 the Great Kanto Earthquake destroyed much of central Tokyo, along with the Nihonbashi fish market. In 1935 the market was relocated to its current site near Ginza

Manafort’s former right-hand man Rick Gates is once again testifying about how helped his boss conceal millions of dollars and defraud banks that provided loans
Gates began his testimony Monday with an account of how he spent a decade with Manafort in Ukraine, where he said they were paid by wealthy businessmen there. They wired money into Cyprus accounts, and Gates helped Manafort move it to the U.S., he said
