CW: Transphobia, Transphobic slurs contained in the thread below.

So, the same old suspects from the same old source: Mumsnet "Feminism Chat" 1/?
Those of us who are already in the know, know the kind of things that the "feminists" in Mumsnet "Feminism Chat" like to get up to when the discussion inevitably turns to the transgender community, but not a huge number of people are aware of just how much said "feminists" 2/?
CW: Transphobic slurs

love to throw around the words t***ny and t***nnie, despite the fact that the word is, ya'know, a slur, and a pretty nasty one. Say, for instance, posts like these
CW: Transphobic slurs

and these
CW: Transphobic slurs

or these
CW: Transphobic slurs

And how about these?
CW: Transphobic slurs

and these
CW: Transphobic slurs

probably not a surprise, but these as well:
CW: Transphobic slurs

(wow, these just keep coming, don't they?)
CW: Transphobic slurs

and more
CW: Transphobic slurs

seriously, still more?
CW: Transphobic slurs

and more
CW: Transphobic slurs

By the way, if you're asking, 'Does this ever stop?', well, that's a question the trans community has been asking about the way they've been treated, but hey, even more
CW: Transphobic slurs

yep, still more
CW: Transphobic slurs

you know how this goes
CW: Transphobic slurs

They even managed a whole post based around the slur, although I'll only include the opening salvo here
Which leads to an interesting question?

Just how much will it take for #Mumsnet to realise that it might just have a wee bit of problem with some of it's posters using it's site to post what looks an awfully lot like #transphobia
How inexplicably remiss of me. I neglected to @PinkNews in on this. My apologies.
So @MumsnetTowers a question for you. Do you think the above behaviour is acceptable? Do you really think that you should be hosting boards containing disparaging, offensive, and contemptuous slurs like the one above?

How about the n-slur? Is that acceptable to you? 19/?
How about the f-slur? Hey, @MrBrainsFaggots, would you be happy seeing your product advertised right next to posts on a very popular website using the f-slur? No? Would you be happy be advertised next to the t-slur?

How about @Tesco or @asda @AsdaServiceTeam? Are you 20/?
happy to be advertised next to offensive and derogatory slurs like this? @sainsburys @Morrisons @AldiUK @LidlUK @coopukfood would you be happy be advertised next to slurs like these?

Right now, with what you've seen, do you really want to be associated with this?

Because if it was me having to make these decisions, I wouldn't be happy seeing my product being advertised on a platform that's hosted slurs like these.

So @MumsnetTowers 24 hrs since I asked you a question. An easy question. Most orgs would have an answer. But not yours. Apparently you have no problem in hosting posts containing disparaging, and offensive slurs. You haven't even made an attempt to take down the posts...
...So a follow-up question to the one you didn't answer:

Are you proud to be associated with these slurs?

@MumsnetTowers are you proud to be known as the site that openly hosts posts that contain derogatory slurs like t****y and t****ie?

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

So the posters on the Feminism Chat Board have finally noticed this post. Have they decided to own up to the problems with having a board where the t-slur is being posted with free abandon?

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

Of course not!

Instead of deciding to use this opportunity to clean house, own up to what they've done, and get the offending posts removed, they've doubled down with the usual bullshit:

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

'Oh, but is wasn't us, guv! Honest pinky swears! And even it was, well, it's not that bad. I mean, it doesn't even matter, does it?'

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

No. It was @MumsnetTowers Feminism Chat Board, and yes, it really does matter. Having trouble believing me? Here's the screenshots of the searches. Notice how they ALL say Feminism Chat.

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

'Oh, but it was all so looooong ago. It doesn't matter, we're all completely different people now. That doesn't happen now! Honest"

Yeah, two problems with that:

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

You've just openly admitted to sitting on a board and happily accepting the presence of derogatory, demeaning, belittling, offensive, and insulting slurs FOR YEARS. Either you didn't think it was...

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

...enough of a problem to report to get the slurs removed, or you did report it, and @MumsnetTowers decided that they are a-okay with having the t-slur slathered repeatedly on their boards...

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

Either way, you get to own those t-slurs, no matter how much you want to deny it, cisters.

And, of course, the second problem with that argument...

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

...Those posts that are, 'oh so long ago'? 41, that's forty one, of them were posted ~past couple of years. Yep, from the beginning of 2016 to now, the t-slur got used an awful lot, and was posted...

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

...with very little challenge from other posters (and by the way, my respect to those posters who did challenge the use of the word, that was a seriously gutsy thing to do given just how toxic that...

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

...particular community is).

And so here we are again, it's almost ritualistic at this point:

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

@MumsnetTowers Why are you perfectly happy to have posts containing these vile and utterly unnecessary slurs being hosted on your site?

And @MumsnetTowers ...

CW: Transphobic slurs and #mumsnet "feminism" once more flailing hard:

...Why do you think it's acceptable to have established users on that board try to deflect attention away from what you know needs to be done?

Still waiting for that answer, @MumsnetTowers

Fascinating. MN GCers now starting to get paranoid about why posters' names are blanked out. 2 reasons:

1) No publicity for you, soz

2) There's a v.small chance that somebody left info in their UserID that might ID them in RL. Blanking names out was a courtesy, nothing more.
So, an update to the update to the update. I think.

It has been pointed out to me that screenshots aren't always considered the most reliable of source re: how easy it is to manipulate them. So here's the archives:

CW: Transphobia and use of slurs

And the good new with archived links is that you can Ctrl+F them...

Wake up brain, one at a time isn't the brightest idea you've had

And the @MumsnetTowers anti-trans hate group over on "Bigot's Corner" are still busy with their legal illiteracy as they yet again deploy their Freeman-on-the-land arguments, this time with Girl Guiding.

So much deliberate stupidity—so little time, but let's unpack this...

"Having considered this I feel I can see where the issue is arising."

No, no you can't. No, seriously, you can't. You've made up an issue and have cherry-picked words from the Equality Act to support your arguments, but that's not how the law works.

"Equality Act 2010 does not suggest that single sex children’s organisations assort individuals as per their gender"

No, EA2010 doesn't suggest anything. It says straight out, unless an org meets the highly stringent exception set out in the EqA, an exception that can...

Ah, the anti-trans crowd are desperately trying to get #ROGD traction and legitimacy by trying to get it trending on Twitter.

So let's break it down.

#ROGD is pseudo-scientific bunkum that has less credibility than the flat earth theory.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

But in all seriousness, #ROGD is nothing more than the #transphobic denial of reality, and an attempt to explain away a phenomenon that has parallels running throughout history and is already well understood.

See, here's the thing. As the results of the UK LGBT Survey...

showed, trans ppl in the UK still face horrific levels of abuse and discrimination in society. And, as with any marginalised group in society that faces that level of threat to their safety and health, anybody who wants to come out as being trans has to make a calculation...

ECHR rulings mean that GRA2004 is now no longer fit for purpose as it likely places the UK in breach of it's treaty duties under the Convention.

Tomorrow: examination of the legal process of self-declaration, models used, international take-up, future-proof compliance with...2/n
upcoming ECHR judgements, and likely future challenges.

And then Monday: examination of the benefits of self-declaration, and how implementing such a system can save the Government a load of wonga by highlighting all the studies that show just how vastly mental health...

Mmm. this is an interesting one. Bare basics, police refused to offer the job of Constable to a trans woman, claiming that she was legally male, so couldn't conduct more than cursory searches of women, but was visibly female, and so couldn't. . .

carry out more than cursory searches of men, under the terms of PACE.

Conclusion of the tribunal was that this amounted to discrimination and that the officer in question would be able to legally carry out all searches in what is now known as their acquired gender, thereby...2/n
determining that presentation of gender should be used as the guide for determination of sex for use in interpretation of law under such circumstances.

The #IWasCalledTERF #IwascalledaTERF crowd are at it with their pity-party again.

Maybe they should try some honesty:

'#IwascalledaTERF because I want to eradicate trans ppl from society'
'#IWasCalledTERF because I don't want trans ppl to openly be themselves'
'#IWasCalledaTERF because I want to deny trans ppl access to medical treatment'

'#IWasCalledTERF because I've called for trans kids to undergo Conversion Therapy'

'#IWasCalledaTERF because I've engaged in targeted harassment of trans individuals'
'#IWasCalledaTERF because I've harassed people who stand up for trans people'

'#IWasCalledTERF because I've taken it upon myself to be the sole judge and arbiter of people's appearences'

'#IWasCalledaTERF because I've said trans girls are rapists who want access to other girls'

So, I mentioned yesterday that it felt like the so-called "feminists" on everybody's least favourite board were, in the terms of the analogy, working themselves up to another tantrum spiral.

Turns out I was right. And with things like this I hate being right, but, well, at least it's even more exposure about what really goes on at the so-called "Feminism Chat" board on @MumsnetTowers #mumsnet

CW: #Transphobia

2/n Yet another #transphobic post from the so-called
So, first of all, what am I talking about when I say 'tantrum spiral'.

@MumsnetTowers so-called "feminists" have a distinct posting pattern of late.

i) Things start to slump on the board, and they lose a few more posters.
ii) To try and make the board look more...
