Thank you, liberal America. Thanks again for insisting Hillary was the strongest choice despite the polling; thanks for inadvertently putting this man in the White House; thanks for the New Cold War; thanks in advance, for the bodies...

At the end of the day, don’t worry about that legacy. At least you #resisted...
Joe Biden is a proponent of the Drug War, NAFTA & TPP. He thinks net neutrality is unnecessary. He helped deregulate Wall St, voted for the Iraq War, voted to gut welfare, wrote & defended the '94 crime bill, voted for a border fence,& laid the groundwork + voted for PATRIOT Act.
Biden thinks millennials should stop complaining about how they're inheriting a climate crisis and an economy defined by staggering inequality, unaffordable health care, low-paying jobs without benefits, and crippling student debt. He doesn't think billionaires are a problem.
Biden thinks tax credits for low income families are a big, bold idea. In Biden's mind the economic gap is not a crisis. Even though the staggering inequality is affecting our ability to tackle climate change, Biden sees a only a need for minor tweaks.
Fact check 1: AOC overstepped on assertion that “everyone is working multiple jobs.”
Besides missing the forest for the trees, WaPo asserts that the number of people working multiple jobs has declined based on BLS statistics. But that’s probably inaccurate.
Fact check 2: AOC is wrong about Mercatus study that M4A would be much cheaper than the current system.
In reaching this conclusion, WaPo relies on assumptions made in the study—not simply the data.
Still wrapping my head around the fact that there are some liberals out there who fervently deny that economic stress exacerbates prejudice. It's almost as if they'd rather talk about anything other than inequality.

Abraham Lincoln once said that “as a nation of free men, we will live forever or die by suicide.” Those words are as true today as they were in 1838.
Today, @JenAshleyWright tweeted this, garnering thousands of likes/retweets. She has since deleted it, but I think it is important to have a record. This tweet is illustrative of why there is still a divide among Democrats. (Thread)
To many liberals, problems that existed before 2016 were acceptable/hardly warranted the kind of change a certain VT Sen was talking about. Those included immigrant internment, child casualties abroad, extrajudicial killings, prosecution of whistle-blowers, and galling inequality
To this day, those liberals see progressives who could not vote for Clinton and her "America is already great" Democrats as the problem. Only w/ Trump in office are they motivated to address what are largely systemic problems that have been there all along(to 1 extent or another)
In 2018, the DNC paid $570,000 to Onward Together for "list acquisition." This comes at a time when the organization is having difficulty funding state parties.
Starting on December 12, 2017 and ending in late February 2018 (while the DNC was making its payments to Clinton’s group), the DCCC paid Onward Together $710,868 for “generic committee list rental.”
It is important to clarify that the DNC's agreement to pay Onward Together was entered into BEFORE @TomPerez became chair.
