My creative answer: @iconews should CONFISCATE all the #derivativeIP derivated from #PII#wrongly#accessed (as crime proceeds). As #IP (Intellectual prop) holder, @iconews could issue a wide open #CeaseAndDesist of using of any contaminated models, killing them all, everywhere.
Then sue commercially for unlimited damages for ip infringement for any continued used by everybody who can’t prove clean data, acquiring as proceeds from crime, their derivative contaminated ip, putting them out of biz. “This is a derivative IP issue, not just a PII issue!”
The value is Not just in the PII data, the value is fundamentally in the trained models derived by principal component analysis (PCA), dimensionality reduction and other methods. @iconews: Confiscate the big data ip models as proceeds of the crime of illegally accessing PII.
Your comments on my comments this thread, please? “Let’s confiscate as “proceeds of crime” the data models (derivative ip=intellectual property) based upon illegally accessed PII (personally identifiable information)” @nca_lynneowens & @iconews, CAN YOU PLEASE WORK TOGETHER?
unroll please.
