Okay this has too many damn retweets now so I’ve gotta clear up a few things about a tweet I didn’t expect to pop off
1. Men, if a woman in your life retweeted this pls just take a moment to really reflect on the unfortunate reality that she genuinely is frightened of men. If you’re truly a good man then that should upset you and make you want to help fix that!
2. Instead of defending how there are good men out there (which we do all actually know) show us!! Call out your bros when they’re acting inappropriately, reach out to support the women in your life who might feel this way!
Actions speak so much louder than words
3. My dad would support this tweet b/c he is a good dude who raised me to be a strong woman and he works hard to be a good activist and ally who inspires me!
4. I’m a lesbian y’all lmaooo I really don’t care about dudes that much
5. This tweet wasn’t intended to be a political statement, it was just said out of frustration after I was harassed by a group of drunk men while walking home one night, but it did sadly resonate with a lot of people
6. (Because it wouldn’t fit in a tweet)
7. So I wanna be clear that while I think saying #notallmen doesn’t do anything constructive, we here at Tiddy Girl™️ do cap for all the marginalized men out there and recognize that privilege is a nuanced thing
8. so that while men may hold societal power over women, women can still hold that power over disabled people, people of color, trans people etc who are men and we should all fight together for a better world.
9. Seriously y’all, no women like being approached by a group of men, catcalled, followed around, etc.
seriously, if you didn’t know, now you do, please stop doing it. (I think this goes for all people really)
10. Beautiful women in my mentions, wassup! 🗣 Everyone else feel free to follow me for spicy takes, political resources, lesbianism, and selfies 💖
