Thread: Why Is Pinterest The Best Social Platform For Your Business?
Life Of A Post: Twitter - 18 Minutes. Facebook - 5 Hours. Instagram - 21 Hours. LinkedIn - 24 Hours. YouTube - 20 Days. PINTEREST - 4 MONTHS!
People think of Pinterest as a social media platform when it’s actually a social media “search engine.” People go to Pinterest (instead of Google) to search for eye-catching visuals.
You can reach FAR MORE than the amount of followers you have. After the first 3 months of using Pinterest, I was receiving 150,000 profile viewers each month - with less than 100 followers.
Quality images & content gets the recognition it deserves. Put in the time to make a stunning visual and it won’t go unnoticed.
Going viral on Pinterest isn’t just a quick spike in traffic and back down to nothing. The pins that perform well will continue to perform for 6 months - OR MORE.
You can post as much or as little as you’d like & no one will know the difference! Posting too much on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook starts to feel spammy and you lose followers. However, Pinterest serves up your content without overwhelming your viewers.
Create 1,000 Pinterest pins that get shared 100x over (let’s say over the course a year), and the next year you will have 100,000 copies of your pin floating around on Pinterest. I currently have over 4.5K pins leading to my website.
Sharing isn’t such a social statement. It’s a rarity for someone to share your stuff on other social media platforms because the viewer knows people will judge them for what is posted. Pinterest, on the other hand, is all about sharing - as much as possible.
Followers aren’t essential but they start rolling in once you are reaching the masses. After my first year, I now get 20-50 follows each day, which leads to more views, which leads to more followers, which leads to more conversions.
You can create pins that refer to all your other social platforms/website/storefront/etc. I currently have pins that lead people to all my accounts: Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, & Online Store.
I’ve input my SnapCode on all my Pinterest article images, and I now receive 5-20 adds each day. I’ll probably be making videos about Snapchat in the future. #HeadsUp
On January 1, Pinterest updated their stats and informed everyone that they have 175,000,000 active monthly Pinterest users & 75,000,000 of those users are from the U.S. Imagine getting a slice of that worldwide pie...
Stats: 87% of Pinners purchased a product cause of Pinterest. 67% of Pinners are under 40. Everyday 2M people Pin product rich Pins. Average time spent on Pinterest is 14.2 minutes each use.
Stats: Millennials use Pinterest as much as Instagram. 81% of users are actually Female. Half of Pinterest users make more than $50K per year & 10% of users make greater than $125K per year. Affluent women who are ready to buy.
Follow me to learn more about how to take advantage of this mind-blowing (AND COMPLETELY FREE) opportunity. I’ll post instructional videos on what I do to reach 5,000,000+ users each month.
My website stats after one year on Pinterest. 464K impressions every day, which equates to approx. 170MIL impressions per year.
The massive drop in stats is because of someone in San Antonio who snipped a wire and shut off all WordPress Business websites - including mine.
On April 24, I received almost 700,000 impressions from Pinterest.
The emotions of a woman are comparable to a boat on the ocean.
She can improve her boat’s size from a dingy to a cruise ship (emotional stability), but ultimately the waves (other people) and the weather (situations) will cause her boat to rock and sway (mood swings).
It is your job, as a man, to be a fucking cliff (extremely emotional stable).
Allow boats to dock (relationships) or slam into the rocks (fight your beliefs or try to destabilize you) and keep being a cliff.
As a man, if you are also a boat, the relationship will fail.
Boats don’t stay connected to each other for very long.
Even if you are a big ass boat, you are no place to dock permanently.
They get what they need and then head back out to sea.
