Japan was ahead because the Japanese translated Science & Tech into Japanese.
The Chinese lagged because they relied on English translators. Now have *massive* investment in using Chinese for Science.
India’s #EnglishApartheid kills advancement in Science and Tech.
This is how committed the Chinese are to translation and how they are getting to good. India's #EnglishApartheid literally cripples minds.

It needs a massive commitment of resources from the top. @narendramodi govt and BJP have shown no such commitment, rather pushing #EnglishApartheid deeper, literally killing India's talent & brains.

Not an issue. India's population and human resources are 150%+ of Europe. EU has 24 official languages, all are used for Higher Ed. India can easily support 22.

Not at all. People can always learn languages for employment, do all over the world. Learning a language is different from changing the medium of education.

What edge? India lags behind in every area, including IT. India is "proud" of a few call center jobs, China is racing ahead in Artificial Intelligence, manufacturing, high-tech, has its own search engine, social media.
Slavery is not an "edge."

Lol. And India was an intellectual superpower when it was using #IndianLanguages. China sent people here to learn. A slave culture based on language slavery can never innovate and rise.

Why parrot ignorance? All the Asian Tigers progressed on the basis of their own languages. Singapore and HK are practically cities, irrelevant examples for the scale of India.

1. MNCs localize all over the world. MNC ≠ English. 2. My talks and book is in Hindi, being translated into other Indian languages. See also my pinned tweet. 3. The biggest force for English in India is the government.

The more I look at #Kathua case, the more bizarre it gets. It seems less about #JusticeforAsifa but a narrative being spun by puppet-masters.
Let the facts come. Let's ask— 1. Why did this 3-month old murder case suddenly become news. Why was it not news when the murder happened?
Why was a police officer from #Kashmir with a highly dubious history of murder-rape based on Islamist leanings, assigned to this case in #Jammu?

Q 3.
Were certain people being framed to create a narrative in this case. Was a poor dead girl being used to push agendas?
