I was going to leave this alone as just another instance as the public broadcaster forgetting to credit a competitor, but now that I've watched it, I have some thoughts.

1. There's virtually no new information in this report that wasn't first reported by @MackLamoureux last year. Why package it as 'CBC can reveal' or an investigation.
2. It literally opens with a VICE US doc about the 3 Percenters there. The report uses one of the same experts we used. Mack's piece is the first thing on Google for '3 percenters Canada.' Obviously, they had to be aware of our story.
3. Obviously, TV has repackaged print stories for decades, that's part of the game. But they usually aren't repackaged and sold as exclusives or investigations.
4. Anyway, I wouldn't expect a shoutout for a follow or a talking head interview on the subject. But the packaging on this does cross a line for me into #uncool behaviour.
5. Love what the CBC does for the country, but I tell you, it's very weird how our public broadcaster has such problems linking out or crediting competitors.
6. And finally, on a personal note, I had to edit 5000 words of @MackLamoureux copy. Do you know much work that was???? Months of my life...gone. -30-
