Everyone I met was great. They shared their ups & downs without hesitation. We didn’t talk about just business. We talked about work-life balance, breastfeeding, sleep training, traveling w/ kids and how loving your kids unconditionally goes a long way. #MicroConf 2/18

Life’s been rough the past two years due to multiple miscarriages & a complicated pregnancy. My loss in productivity tanked. I wasn’t expecting this at a tech + startup conference but @garrettdimon talked about running @sifterapp and going through an amputation. #MicroConf 7/18

My biggest takeaways from #MicroConf are:
- I need to charge more money!
- I need to ask and accept help. I’ve gotten into this mentor role to help beginners who are learning to code that I’ve forgotten that I need help too to take my career to the next step. 13/18

My biggest takeaways from #MicroConf continued..:
- I've been trying to force things that are not working & ignoring opportunities that are staring at me 😀
- Things don’t change as fast as I think they do. Wordpress still runs a significant portion of the internet. 14/18

As is for most tech + startup conferences, there were few women attending #MicroConf. It's great that they have a diversity scholarship and I was fortunate to receive one. Thank you @SoloFounder and thank you @citadelgrad for sponsoring my ticket! I very much appreciate it. 15/18

After an incredible event, I came back home yesterday to my baby girl. She touched my face for the first time 😊. It seems like she missed me! She reminded of why I want to start my own business in the first place. #MicroConf 18/18
