If you have harmed trust, do the work to rebuild it by sincerely asking the person/hearing how you can rebuild the trust; then do the work they asked of you.

If there is a breach of trust, it is on the person who has breached it to show care & respect in action to repair before their hurts can be addressed - most relationships can be saved.

There are many reasons you were attracted to this person, committed to them, (and they to you) honor it. Honor the precious time of your lives you have dedicated to one another. Understand how you experienced yourself with them in the beginning & use that as a source. (3/10)

If you've forgotten go figure out ways to get back in touch with it - read old cards, letters, look at pictures, make lists. (4/10)

Figure out what are the obstacles in your relationship that are impeding the trust. Certain family members, friends, religious organizations, groups, technology? Take a moment to affirm to them that you love your partner & are dedicated to your partner being most significant. 5

Make short term & long term plans together, have common goals to work towards. Both for the trust rebuilding & for life together. Don't run away. Don't make plans that betray the other. (7/10)

Earn your way out of a relationship. It is easier for both people when they’ve done the work to grow the relationship -- to be closer in a better relationship or to move on if it truly isn't a right fit.( 8/10)
