1/ BREXIT & THE UNFLUSHED TOILET.
An insight into the mind of a Brexiteer...
2/ A plumbing crisis led to an older family member insisting that what a plumber told him many years ago was gospel despite another plumber physically proving tonight that he was wrong all these years...
3/ This led to raised voices with the plumber as said family member was insistent that the new plumber was wrong despite all evidence suggesting otherwise.
4/ Now you can probably see where this is going. 🤔
As people get older they always say "We all made mistakes when we were younger..."
But are they so ready to admit to mistakes they still make?
5/ They keep sending money to the Nigerian Prince sending them begging letters to help him escape prison, or to the Canadian Lottery to cover "admin fees" in return for the million dollar win for a competition they never entered...
6/ Until they are so far down the rabbit hole and it finally dawns on them.
Then they try everything to hide it from family and friends...burning begging letters, telling lies.
This belief that they are always right because of life experience is their ultimate failing.
7/ No surprise that the older generation voted largely in favour of Brexit.
No surprise that many Leave voters have suddenly gone very quiet.
No surprise that most people now sharing the #RemainerNow hashtag tend to be younger and more open about making mistakes.
8/ End of thread...
